An action-packed UFC 322 main card opens with a lightweight tilt between Beneil Dariush and Benoit Saint Denis.

Saint Denis enters as a -190 favorite in the UFC odds, with Dariush hitting back at +145 in a fight that promises plenty of action.

I’ll break down why the Frenchman gets the job done with a third straight win in my Dariush vs. Saint Denis predictions for Saturday, November 15.

Dariush vs Saint Denis prediction and best bet

Fight analysis
After suffering consecutive KO losses to Dustin Poirier and Renato Moicano last year, Benoit Saint Denis will look to close out 2025 with a third straight victory when he squares off against Beneil Dariush at UFC 322.

Saint Denis comes in as the betting favorite at -190, and I can see why – he pushes forward with relentless pressure, possesses an excellent submission game (which he just showed off against Mauricio Ruffy as an underdog in September), and has a granite chin.

On the other side of the octagon stands a 36-year-old Dariush. The UFC veteran has been fighting in the promotion since 2014, but he has just one bout in almost two years — a decision win over Moicano back in June.

Dariush certainly has the tools to be competitive with Saint Denis, highlighted by his elite grappling and wrestling skills. He may not be as relentless as BSD on the feet, but Dariush is likely the most polished striker of the two.

Still, I have questions about his age and durability, as Dariush has been knocked out in two of his last three fights.

On the other hand, BSD is on more of an upward trajectory. He got a new coach this year in Nicolas Ott, who also trains fellow Frenchman Nassourdine Imavov — one of the best strikers in the middleweight division.

I expect Saint Denis to showcase improved striking along with his same relentless pressure en route to victory.

Best bet analysis
Saint Denis is known for his aggressive style, but he looked a lot more measured and patient in his win over Ruffy — his first fight under his new coach.

Dariush is also a great grappler, so I wouldn’t expect Saint Denis to lock in an early sub. Dariush himself has not finished a fight since 2020, and I don’t think he has the power to put BSD’s lights out.

Expect this fight to go deep into the second or third round.
