Oregon is hoping for good news on star center Bol Bol, who is expected to miss his second straight game Tuesday when the Ducks face visiting Florida A&M. The 7-2 freshman sat on the bench for Saturday’s win over Boise State after injuring his left foot last week and will undergo further evaluation to determine how long he’ll be sidelined.

A big reason why the Ducks were picked to win the Pac-12 this season, Bol leads the team with 21 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots per game. Oregon overcame his absence Saturday as guard Payton Pritchard had 19 points and five rebounds and Victor Bailey Jr. added 13 points off the bench in the 66-54 win over Boise State. “Bol brings a lot to the table so we need to step up and help with the things he leaves behind,” Bailey told reporters. “The guys need to come together and focus.” Senior forward Paul White started for Bol and scored 14 points for the Ducks, who have won three in a row for the first time this season.

ABOUT FLORIDA A&M (3-8): Picked to finish seventh in the 12-team Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, the Rattlers began a six-game road trip Monday night against Utah. Senior guard Justin Ravenel entered the contest averaging a team-high 13.7 points while shooting 47.2 percent from 3-point range. Junior guard Rod Melton Jr. had nine points in last Sunday’s 73-40 loss to Georgia Tech, which forced 25 turnovers and held the Rattlers to 34.8 percent shooting – including 2-of-11 from beyond the arc.

ABOUT OREGON (7-3): Pritchard is averaging 13.3 points and 4.7 assists for the Ducks, who rank fourth in the nation in field goal percentage defense at 36 percent. Saturday’s game marked the college debut of freshman forward Miles Norris, a 6-10 native of San Diego who has decided to play this season rather than sit out a redshirt year. Altman said he’ll ease Norris into the rotation along with fellow freshman Francis Okoro, who scored five points against Boise State after going scoreless in the team’s previous three games.

TIP-INS

1. Oregon is 147-16 under Altman when holding opponents under 70 points.

2. Florida A&M's six-game road trip concludes Jan. 7 at Norfolk State.

3. Oregon forward Abu Kigab exited Saturday’s game with an injury to his left foot and is listed as day-to-day.

PREDICTION: Oregon 79, Florida A&M 56
