Last Meeting ( Feb 3, 2020 ) Dallas 112, Indiana 103

Despite a rash of injuries the Indiana Pacers are staying afloat during their five-game road trip, which wraps up Sunday with a visit to the Dallas Mavericks. Playing without two of their top three scorers and with former All-Star Victor Oladipo on a minutes restriction, the Pacers survived a visit to Chicago on Friday to improve to 3-1 on the trip.

"We're a very talented group, and our depth is one of our strengths," Oladipo told reporters afte rthe 108-102 win. "It's no surprise to me that guys stepped up and played well tonight. We've just got to continue to build on it." Domantas Sabonis scored 24 points to lead five players in double figures in the victory as Indiana improved to 7-2 following a season-high six-game losing streak. The Mavericks will be aiming for their first three-game winning streak since mid-January after cruising past Memphis 121-96 on Friday at home. Kristaps Porzingis stayed hot with 26 points and 11 rebounds for Dallas, which has won four in a row at home following a 14-14 start at American Airlines Center.

TIME: 7 p.m. ET. TV: FS Indiana, FS Southwest

ABOUT THE PACERS (38-25): Guard Malcolm Brogdon (hip) and forward T.J. Warren (leg) were the injured starters Friday night, and key reserve Doug McDermott (toe) also took a seat. Oladipo returned from a two-game layoff of his own to score 16 points, and he remains confident he can navigate what has been a difficult recovery from a serious knee injury. "I believe I can get and overcome any obstacle, any situation, anything I'm in," he told the media in Chicago. "At the end of the day, I am human, so you have some days where you're up and some days where you're down, but consistently, I'm a killer."

ABOUT THE MAVERICKS (39-25): Porzingis has five straight games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, and he is averaging 30 points and 12.2 boards in that span as he - like Oladipo - is returning to form following a major injury. "It took me a little bit of time to figure some things out and feel really comfortable out there," Porzingis, who missed all of last season following a torn ACL, told reporters. "Now, it feels natural. It feels organic. It feels just in the rhythm of the game." Luka Doncic chipped in 21 points Friday and Seth Curry had 15 in just 15 minutes before departing with an injured ankle.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Mavericks G Tim Hardaway Jr. (illness) and F Dorian Finney-Smith (hip) missed Friday's win and are day-to-day.

2. Sabonis also had 12 rebounds Friday night for his 49th double-double, tying Troy Murphy's team record.

3. Porzingis had 38 points and 12 rebounds in a 112-103 win at Indiana on Feb. 6.

PREDICTION: Mavericks 114, Pacers 110
