Whatever the case, the English Premier League standings are getting a lot more interesting as we prepare to roll into Matchday 19 for EPL betting. Manchester United have surged into sole possession of top spot in the table following a 1-0 victory over Burnley, while former co-leaders Liverpool are now sitting second and are only one point clear of three other teams.

That trio includes surging Manchester City, who have rolled to four consecutive victories and are once again the soccer odds title favorites at -138.

Fulham vs Chelsea

Two teams treading water in the Premier League race duel Saturday at Craven Cottage as relegation-threatened Fulham host Chelsea. The visiting Blues (-223) are expected to cruise in this one, but you could hardly blame bettors for having their confidence shaken in a Chelsea side with just one victory and four points from its previous six Premier League matches.

Fulham (+600) are presently -110 to wind up in the second division next year but have been strangely competitive in recent weeks, with draws in each of their previous five league matches. And while we aren't quite bold enough to suggest the upset here, we could easily see the hosts making things difficult on the Blues, at least until Chelsea's talent prevails after the break.

Liverpool vs Manchester United

Marquee Premier League matchups always generate plenty of betting interest—and this game should be no exception as the top two teams in the table face off at Anfield. Liverpool find themselves in danger of falling out of the Top 4 altogether with just one point from their past three matches, but they're still -106 favorites over new solo table leaders Manchester United (+260).

If you like the idea of loading several units onto a high-odds play, the Liverpool-Draw Double Chance play (-350) is a good one considering that the hosts have gone 46 straight league matches without a loss at Anfield. But we also like the U2.5 here, with these two defensively-responsible teams having combined for two or fewer goals in each of their last three meetings.

Arsenal vs Newcastle United

Monday's lone Premier League contest looks like it could be a one-sided affair, with Arsenal entertaining Newcastle. The Gunners are slowly crawling out of the enormous hole they've dug themselves, and they're comfortable -250 favorites Monday against a Newcastle side (+700) that has scored just four total goals during its current eight-game winless stretch.

We have zero confidence in Newcastle, who have been blanked five times in the previous eight games—so the question is, where will we find the best Arsenal-specific value? The clean sheet prop is tempting, but we're getting a slightly better payout on the combination of an Arsenal win and only one team to score, so we're going in that direction instead.
