With City in desperate need of a win, Emanuel Rosu believes Erling Haaland will be front and center as he continues his goal-scoring ways vs. Crystal Palace.

Manchester City have no room for error.

With Arsenal holding a five-point lead atop the Premier League table and only three matches remaining, anything less than a win against Crystal Palace would all but end City’s title defense. A victory cuts the gap to two points and cranks the pressure squarely back onto Arsenal heading into the final stretch.

That urgency should bring out the best in City’s biggest stars, especially Erling Haaland, who thrives in these high-leverage moments.

Here are my Man City vs. Crystal Palace predictions and free betting picks for May 13.

Premier League predictions for Man City vs Crystal Palace

My Man City vs Crystal Palace best bet: Erling Haaland 2+ goals (+210 at Sports Interaction)

Erling Haaland turns into a beast when facing Crystal Palace.

The Norwegian has scored in all five of his Premier League appearances against Palace, netting eight goals in total. He has also scored in each of City's last four league matches and continues to look dangerous in front of goal.

Against Brentford at the weekend, he registered no fewer than four shots on target, showing just how sharp he is right now.

As for Crystal Palace, they've not kept a clean sheet in five matches on the trot, and have given up at least two goals in four of their last six fixtures.

Haaland's dominance and recent form both back him, which is why he’s my pick for the Palace clash.

Man City vs Crystal Palace same-game parlay (SGP)

Erling Haaland 2+ goals

Man City to have the most corners

Jean-Philippe Mateta 1+ shots on target

Crystal Palace to have the most cards

Man City average 6.31 corners per game, the highest in the Premier League this season. Palace averages just 4.23 and ranks among the bottom four in the division. It’s difficult to see any team beating City on corners at the Etihad, so I’m adding that to my SGP.

Jean-Philippe Mateta is starting to regain form after an injury-hit season. He recorded two shots on target against Liverpool, two against Newcastle, and one against Chelsea in matches played since the start of the year, so City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma can expect to be tested whenever Mateta gets on the ball.

To take my parlay to a solid +850 return, I’m also backing cards. City average 1.8 cards per game, while Palace stands at 2.83.
