Brentford vs Chelsea Predictions, Picks & Odds for Saturday’s Premier League Match

Chelsea are in fine form, and they won't let an opportunity to stay near the top of the EPL table.

Chelsea sit second in the table after three matches, winning seven points from a maximum total of nine. Brentford are 14th, on three points.

They underwent a managerial change in the summer, and there has been some transfer activity as well, so they need to adjust to a new reality.

I see Chelsea winning the game, in their attempt to fuel a long-term race for the Premier League crown alongside fellow contenders Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City.

Here are my Brentford v Chelsea predictions and EPL picks for Saturday, September 13.

Premier League predictions for Brentford vs Chelsea

My Brentford vs Chelsea best bet: Chelsea to win (-133 at Sports Interaction)

Chelsea come into this clash undefeated in 11 of their last 12 Premier League matches. They are the winners of this summer's first revamped edition of the Club World Cup and started their domestic campaign on a high.

After an opening day 0-0 draw in front of Crystal Palace, Chelsea have shown dominance and fantastic goal-scoring potential in their following two matches. They won away against West Ham 5-1, then went on to beat Fulham 2-0.

On the other hand, Brentford have lost 3-1 to Nottingham Forest and 2-1 to Sunderland. They only beat Aston Villa, who're having a terrible start to the campaign, winning just one point in three outings.

Chelsea are in fine form, and they shouldn't let this opportunity slip if they really want to be involved in the title race. Even with Cole Palmer missing in the last two games, Chelsea have shown they can access multiple strategies, and that can only make manager Enzo Maresca happy.

I see The Blues leaving Brentford with the three points.

Brentford vs Chelsea same-game parlay (SGP)

Chelsea to win

Chelsea to score in both halves

Chelsea to have most corners

Over 4.5 bookings

Chelsea has a diverse and efficient attacking pack. There will be goals in this game, and I see Chelsea scoring in both halves, just as they did in four of their last five games, including the two preseason friendlies with Leverkusen (2-0) and AC Milan (4-1).

Chelsea sit second in the corners' standings, taking 22 so far. That's an average of more than seven per game. Brentford are only 12th, with 11, half of Chelsea's total.

I will add bookings to my SGP to round up a nice +875 return. There will be plenty of duels in this match, so I expect the ref to be involved as well.
