Bournemouth are after European football themselves, so everything is on the table in this highly anticipated clash. Only three games are left to play until the end of the campaign, so every misstep could prove impossible to overcome this late in the season.

My Bournemouth vs. Aston Villa predictions and free betting picks say goals are in the cards for Saturday, May 10.

Premier League predictions for Bournemouth vs Aston Villa

My Bournemouth vs Aston Villa best bet: Over 3.5 goals (+145 at Betano)

Aston Villa have won six of their last seven Premier League matches. But they lost two of their previous three official games, 2-1 against City in the league, then 3-0 vs. Palace in the FA Cup. Three points separate Villa from fifth-placed Chelsea.

Now seventh in the Premier League, Aston Villa need to aim for the three points against Bournemouth if they are to keep their hopes of reaching the Champions League intact. There's little space for error in the three remaining games of the domestic campaign, so Villa is naturally travelling south to get the job done.

Bournemoth have scored at least two goals in their last three home games against Villa. The Cherries like to create chances and they score a lot, so Unai Emery's side should be at their best defensively as well in order to keep their opponents as quiet as possible. Bournemouth are undefeated in their last five Premier League matches.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 10 of Villa's previous 11 games. I'll grab Betano's +145 return for over 3.5 goals in this clash, hoping to see an eventful and spectacular matchup between two teams who are rarely dull.

Bournemouth vs Aston Villa same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 3.5 goals

Over 10.5 corners

Over 4.5 cards

Villa are fifth in the season's corner ratings (218), while Bournemouth are a bit behind in seventh (211). Villa's average goes over 6 corners per game, with their opponents in the same frame. I'll opt for the over 10.5 in this match, also expecting much action in front at both ends.

Given how important the result of this game could turn out to be, referee Stuart Atwell could be called for duty more than he usually is. To round up a nice +775 exit for my SGP, I'll include the over 4.5 bookings as well. Atwell showed at least three cards in each of the previous seven games he officiated.
