For all boxing fans this should be an absolute Barnstormer of a fight. Potential fight of the year. A fight I will be attending myself. Its also a fight I see a good bit of value in the Underdog. This is as 50/50 fight as you can make in boxing. And I'm sure if this fight was happening anywhere else besides Dublin, Ireland, Poonsawat wins this easy enough. I think he is technically the better boxer of the two and I think he hits harder of the two..

The one big disadvantage to Poonsawat is that Bernard is fighting at home. The Irish love Bernard and he loves them back. He beat Ricardo Cordoba for the WBA Super Bantemweight title in a match he had no right to win. He was a massive dog before the fight and during the fight Cordoba had him in trouble numerous times. Bernard showed incredible heart to win that fight and I remember thinking that fight will have taken so much out of Bernard.

I dont think Poonsawat is as good as Cordoba. But I honestly feel Bernard Dunne put in a once in a lifetime fight the night he won the belt and I question how much he has got left in the tank because as much heart as he has, he is only an average champion. Heart and home support can only take you so far.

The only worry I have about Poonsawat is the one thing Dunne has in spades and that is heart. How will a Thai boxer fare travelling so far in a hostile atmosphere??Its the one thing stopped me from betting really big on this fight although I will put about 10k on Poonsawat @ + 120..

He is the better fighter and if he sticks to his boxing he will win the fight..Think he is super value as a dog..If Dunne does win and sets up a showdown with Israel Vazquez, I will be putting my mortgage on Vazquez. No matter where the fight is held..

Mack simply look  at the judges scoring that fight. We see in HOUSTON and MSG how fighter's get robbed.

A Thai fighter coming into a place like that and getting a decision?

Only way any fighter leaves that country with a WIN is with a KO.

Boxing is corrupt, we know this.

I learned the hard way, never take an opponent who is going into someones backyard and expect a "fair shot".

Be careful with this pick you could end up like me, having picked the real winner, but judges give it to the more known and home town guy.

+120 May seem like a steal, but think deeply about the judging.. unless you have two major prize fighters, the nod will always go to the home town guy even if he gets dominated.

After said all of this, I have NO pick LOL. :)

Rich in fairness Dublin is not Italy or Texas. When Dunne fought Cordoba he was behind on all judges cards and I had it alot closer then the judges did before it was stopped..That's the one thing I am not worried about..

Cee momey just because I am 10 times a better capper then you, this jeaulous streak of yours has to stop..Its very childish

cee money why can't you just leave it? Except i dont like you and you don't like me. This is a boxing forum where opinions are expressed not a battleground for childish behaviour. From now on I want to discuss boxing, not get into a slagging match. So i wont be having any more personal attacks on you or anyone else. Because this is not what this forum is about...

I have a following here because MY picks are pretty good. If you don't like me or my threads just stay away!

I will not get into if he is a writer or not. I believe he does know his stuff, but he goes about  it the wrong way.

He believes very much in himself, which is good, but bashing people or coming back on for praise after a win and then saying people aren't grateful for his picks.

Mack please realize, I like your write ups, I know you know your stuff, but I don't follow your PICKS, I go with my own picks.

I follow your write ups as I do others because when you are not being a douche bag to people you do OFFER a TON of information and good information at that.

I cannot for the life of me understand why you do this, you have two sides of you, a logical side who makes good picks and good write ups and seem like a nice guy.

Then the other side comes out, which if you want respect on here you cannot tell people LOOK at my winners, I told you SO and crap like that.

I always congrat people on their wins, be it small or big, this forum is about helping us be informed and make the right decisions.

What you need to realize Mack is that if someone disagrees with you it's THEIR opinion as it's your OPINION also no need to fight.

I mean c'mon look at You and I first started out, we get along very well now because we came to a neutral understanding.

The whole if you write or not means nothing to me, if you bet $1 or $5million, a WIN is a WIN.

Always realize when you WIN someone else LOSES so coming on saying to people "That's what you get for not following me" is very insulting (not to me personally) but I can easily see how it rubs people the wrong way.

Like me you have STRONG convictions, and believe in everything you say. I learned to listen to other people ESPECIALLY if they disagree with me because MORE information is shared while disagreeing (in a polite manner).

When you wanted to leave the forum, I was the first to tell you to stay because you offer a lot, like many others.

Sample size FTW. You've picked a few favorites and managed to avoid upsets save a domination of Vic from what I saw. I'm not sure if you were around to pick fights like Angulo/Cintron and Mosley/Margarito but I'm sure you got your ass handed to you on them.

Also your going to have to post screencaps of your bet results if you want anyone to believe your getting $50,000 down online. Until you do that no one is going to give you anything.

ok 2 star play on Poonsawat. This would have been a 4 star play except for Darren Sutherlands death..I just think Poonsawat is a class above Dunne and heart and determination can only take you so far.
