Thursday night action:

Cleveland @ Pittsburgh under 40 for 10 units... Where will Cleveland get it's offense from on the road, let alone on the road in Pittsburgh where it vows to be very frigid tonight. Cleveland plays solid defense and they should help this game stay under the total of 40 by giving us a bad performance on offense against another solid defense with Pittsburgh. Pretty basic play here but I like it...

With you on this as well. Cleveland has a solid defense and a terrible offense, I'm thinking this game plays out a lot like the Kansas City - Pittsburgh game from two weeks ago. Plus, the teams are still beat up from playing Sunday (The Under has hit on almost every single Thursday game this season).

1st play for Sunday  is:

Chicago@Denver under 35.5 for 20 units... Last week the Bear's managed a mere 181 yards on offense as they continued to operate without the likes of Jay Cutler or Matt Forte. At least the Bears defense is still intact as they forced the Kansas City Chiefs to punt the ball 11 times in that game as the Bears allowed just 252 yards of offense to KC. As far as Denver goes before last weeks game the Bronco's had a nice little streak of 3 under's going before it got ruined by a less than mediocre Minny defense on turf in the cozy confines of a dome. This week it's back to the thin air of Denver for a December match up between 2 offenses that make me want to puke. I'm calling it the battle of 48% Quarterbacks as that's exactly where both Caleb Hanie & Tim Tebow stand as far as completion percentage's go. Last week the Bears were involved in an punt fest (18 of them to be exact), and I fully expect both of these offense's to struggle...POD

2nd play for Sunday is:

New Orleans -3 (-120) for 20 units... Speaking about punts after talking about the Bears/Chiefs game last week. Here's a team that doesn't do much of that as in the Saints last 21 possessions (last 2 games) they have punted the ball just 6 times. They scored on 12 of these possessions (11 td's & 1 fg). The other 3 possessions were an early 1st qtr fake FG attempt by the Saints that fell 2 yards short of the 1st down against the Giants followed by a 2 late 4th qtr runs on 4th down that failed to get the yard needed for the 1st down ( vs the Giants & Lions). This Saints team is clicking on all types of cylinders right now. The way the addition of Darren Sproles has been fitting in combined with the step to the elite level that Jimmy Graham has taken, it's as if the Saints went from an 8 cylinder car last season to a 10 cylinder car this season. How will Tennessee stop or answer this offense that moves the ball at will? My answer, I don't think it can be done. Tennessee may score a couple of times maybe even a few times but the Saints offense is just rolling right now....POD#2
