Here are the past 5 games 2nd half totals in the 2nd half of Saints games...

49, 33, 23, 35 & 28

and on top of that the last time these 2 teams squared off they scored 34 pts in the second half back on 9/13/2009

Having a nice day so far going 6-2 in this thread below and looking for more in this upcoming second half...

Thought process says the Lions just can't stop this Air assault of the Saints. But how many points can the Lions contribute to help keep the game in motion in the second half is the question?

Detroit's been known to come alive in the 2nd half and anything they put up will be matched by the Saints. I could see saints pk-3 being a play and o24-28 yathink?

I think we are going to see -7 or -7.5's along with a bunch of 30's. We shall see...

Calvin is going to make at least one big play and/or get a PI call that results in points and even if the banged up lions D does control the bleeding downfield, Spoles is bound to take a screen or swing pass to the house at any time. Over or nothing for me

 Lets not forget those games against Minny and Dallas in which they made huge 2nd half comebacks they did it with one hell of an effort on defense. That's something I just don't see happening tonight against this quick strike Saints team with loads of weapons. The only defense in this game is on the side of the home team tonight...

giants score 2 tuddies in the 2nd half, saints should match that, don't necessarily like the spread but the total should go over, only throwing for lions and saints like to stick to their game (brees throwing darts)

I agree, but the saints, like the pack are a team that's trying to score touchdowns on every drive.  They'll pull off the gas.. but it'll be with a 24 point lead late in the 4th.

What I'm getting at...

Hell yes...

Lions @ Saints over 27 for 20 units... I'm up a large amount so i'll throw 20 instead of 10 on it. 4 td's in this game just seems to easy for us.
