    1st play is:

George Washington -1 for 20 units... VCU should be thankful to have 4 wins up to this point so far as they have beaten teams with a combined record of just 11-22su. That's counting Western Kentucky's record twice @ 2-6su as 2 of VCU's wins came against the Hilltoppers. VCU has struggled shooting just 38% from the field this year on offense and have also struggled on defense allowing teams to shoot 46% from the field. GW comes into this game playing excellent defense up to this point holding teams to just 38% on defense. VCU has already faced 2 opponents this year that have allowed less than 40% from the field on defense and they lost both of those games. Georgia Tech is allowing 37% this year on defense and they beat VCU 73-60. Also Alabama who allows just 33% this year on defense beat VCU 72-64. It should also be noted that both Alabama and Georgia Tech have struggled this year on offense as GT is averaging 65ppg and Bama is averaging 68ppg while both teams were able to surpass those averages on offense scoring 73 & 72 pts respectively against that bad VCU defense. This is a good thing to know because GW's offense has also been sketchy at times but I'm a believer that their defense is plentiful enough to force enough struggle's from VCU to cough up a loss on the road...

Yes I am well aware. I posted the score to that game above. But hold on a second . There was 17 lead changes and 8 different times it was tied as VCU's largest lead was by 6 that last for all but 23 seconds. I'm not sure what planet would consider that to be control of any game let alone the WHOLE game you say.

Final score 72-64 with VCU shooting 40% from the field and Alabama shooting 52%. And just for the record Alabama is currently shooting 44% as a team right now...

I will bid you good luck though. But in the process just say that i'm not into betting on a coach to squeeze a dollar out of a dime. That said I'm a Shaka fan, when he's making me money, and frankly that time was last year. I wagered on them in every game in last years NCAA Tourney. The losses of Jamie Skeen, Brandon Rozell, Joey Rodriguez & Ed Nixon along with their 44.6ppg and heavy minutes played will begun to take a toll on this VCU team as it plays tougher competition. Hell it already has IMO as VCU's top 3 scorer's this season are averaging 33%, 35% & 32% shooting from the field. Yikes those are some horrific numbers....

ill take vcu and their genius coach

    2nd play is:

UNLV +2 for 20 units... Last year the Shocker's faced 3 other teams that made it to the NCAA tourney other than Indiana St (Won the MVC conference tourney last season). They lost all 3 of those games to San Diego st 68-83, Uconn 79-83 & VCU 67-68. The Shocker's now approach life this year without the likes of their  top scorer J.T. Durley. He only averaged 11.3ppg but he was their go to guy and leader in the scoring department. Wichita plays solid defense but when faced against the stronger teams in Nation they have come up short. UNLV is going to be tourney bound for sure this season again as they are already 8-0su. They were the 8th seeded team in the Southwest regional bracket from last years tourney and the only difference to this years team is Tre'von Willis is no longer around. They have solid transfer from UCLA leading the way now in Mike Moser (17.5ppg 13.2rpg) along with 3 of the top 4 scorer's from last seasons team (Chace stanback, Oscar Bellfield & Anthony Marshall). This team has the fuel to throttle this Shocker team on the road for sure...POD

The POD's have been mucho fadable lately so tread lightly...

I'll admit there are times that I will back off due to fishiness. But if I feel strong about the selection I push the fishiness aside and move forward with my angle that I like. The books set that total so high in that game yesterday they even allowed me to come back and smack them with a 2nd half over 76 for a 15 point middle that hit with the greatest of ease. Shit not only happens to us at times it also shows it's face in the house of the books as well from time to time..

I'm sure i'll be hearing from someone on the UNLV pick in relation to the unranked team favored over the ranked team situation. To that I will say, Iv'e never been a big fan of following it too much and also feel it to be one of the bigger misconception's and more over rated strategy in sports betting IMO. Even though it was once a pretty hot bet in CFB a couple years back. Not sure of it's record the past couple of seasons in CBB. This year in CFB it struggled mightily...
