5-3 POD's +73 units...

 

 Just as I was about to dip into the negative last week I rip off a rock solid week going 6-2 and netting +98 units. As always last week's thread below...

1st play is:

Tennessee +7 (-120) for 20 units... The Faclons seem to be a different team without the likes of Julio Jone's. There have been no report's that he will suit up yet but even if he does I still like the value as the Falcons shouldn't be laying almost a TD here. Matt Hasselbeck is quietly having a solid season and at some point Chris Jonhson will start to follow suit. Last week CJ2K had 31 touches and 177 yards with a TD. I'm looking for him do treat that as a confidence booster...POD

2nd play is:

Carolina +7  for 10 units... Until the Lions grasp discipline in stopping the run. I'm sure most will see the Lion's botttling up a running QB team like the Bronco's but what I feel those are failing to realize is Cam Newton has completed better than 60% of his passes this season. I think it's safe to say many of us have been more than impressed with Newton's production this season. And there are hole's in this Lion's defense that have been exposed this season. I believe a solid running attack with a solid completion % from the QB position is viable to give the Lions a lot to handle today. The Lion's may win this game but I don't expect to see it happening by DD's...

3rd play is:

Arizona@San Francisco  under 40.5 for 20 units... The Arizona Cardinals have made 4 road trips this season in which 3 of those games played to the under. The 49er's have had a game plan this season of run, run, run that combined with the league's best run defense (49ers 73ypg) along with the fact that Alex Smith is just 24th in the league in pass attempt's this game point's heavily to the under...

That's it i'm rolling with these games so far but I lean to the following:

Jaguar's +1 & under 34 (The Books still continue to give love to the Brown's)

Carolina/Detroit over 47

Ram's -2.5

What's w the Dolphins up to -3...No love for the Bills ....Dolphins still suck at home...Heavy Lean On The Bills...What do you think ?

I would tread lightly on the Bills. There past 2 performances have been quite ugly. The Bills offense mustered up only 287 yards of offense vs the Jet's and just and 271 yards vs the Cowboys. two teams in which many have lots of questions about. NFL home field advantage can be a very important factor on many occasion's throughout the season. Hence the term "It's not easy to win on teh road in teh NFL". I'm not willing to wager on it, but I would bet the Dolphin's in this spot before I even thought about the Bill's the way they have been playing...

Hell teh Dolphin's have put up 31 pts vs the Cheifs and 20pts vs the Skins while holding both offense's to a combined 11pts in those 2 games. They allowed 343 yards on 73 plays to the Cheifs and 246 yards to the Redskins on 49 plays. That's an average per play of just 4.8 yards. Pretty impressive no matter what NFL team you played in 2 games. I think afetr a little research and understanding that the Dolphins have been playing much better lately covering in their past 3 games that they are worth a wager. I'm now on them for 10 units...

Dan Marino was my favorite NFL player as a kid. Shawn Kemp was  my favorite in NBA & Darryl Strawberry was my favorite in MLB (Ricky Henderson a close 2nd)...

Need an opinion....I have a $300 ML parlay with K ST AND CHARGERS.
It pays $4900...should I hedge ??? what do u think of the chargers today ? they usually put a push together about this time every year,,

I'm seeing Bear's ML's around at about -215. If I had your card I would $2580 to win $1200 on the Bears ML. That would maximize you % of making good money. Takes a lot of the gamble out of it. If the Bears win you will profit $900 and if the Charger's win you would make $2320. Putting the business aspect of the this game aside I actually lean to the Charger's in this game. BOL....
