Why is this in Movies and Television?

I get that it was "on" television, but certainly was political in nature-

I'm not a huge fan of John Stewart, but, as he said, he is a comedian first...

Everyone lives in their own world of denial- J Stewart lives in his, Chris Wallace lives in his......

I think Stewart was correct about many things, but I'm not sure exactly what he means when he says his comedy is "informed" by his ideology-

That quote they used was dead on about Stewart. He thinks of himself as a person with keen political insight and opinions, but when people call him on his bullshit he uses the excuse of “I’m a comedian.”

more political pollution in the Movie & TV Forum. I thought the idea of the Political Forum was to keep all the NUTS in one JAR.

Jon Stewart is clueless and exaggerates the facts to produce a comedic response. Anyone who takes his political facts as truth has a easily persuasive mind.

jon stewart shouldnt have done this show. him in a serious political discussion is as effective as the next biased fox news employee. hes funny as hell though and his show is genius. comedians have to embelish for a laugh.
