Passed completely on yesterdays card as I didn't have the necessary time to cap all the games, that and a pretty brutal card. On to today.
Early Leans
Det/Tor o5.5 (-123)
Columbus TT u2.5 (???) This one may end up opening at 2.
Min/Cal u5.0 (+101)
NYI/Phx u5.5 (-126)
I wouldn't take my leans too seriously. They are basically me looking over the card and seeing what interest's me. After capping the games, I usually don't end up playing most of if not all of them, sometimes even play the opposite side. Just a heads up. As always, Good luck everyone.

Right now I'm really liking Edm/Dal o5.5, especially at + money. I haven't been able to cap overs as successfully as unders, which is definitely causing some hesitation.

I know Boston is on an absolute tear right now but it's pretty tough to ignore the value in Vancouver. Best team in the league facing off against 2nd best team, and your going to give +147. Keep in mind the revenge factor for Vancouver as well as this is the first time these teams have faced off sinced the cup finals. I'm definitely not touching this one so good luck.

I was going to play the game total under 5, but after digging deeper it's clear that this is the play that must be made instead. We have 2 teams that lack offensive fire power, but the disrepancy is we have one team that is a great defensive team, and one that certainly isn't.
Columbus comes in as one of the worst teams in the league by a long shot. They completely lack offensive fire power. They are ranked #26 in the league averaging only 2.33 goals per game, slightly improving on the road ranking #20 averaging 2.37 goals per game. Their Power Play really doesn't fair much better. They rank #22 at 14.7% overall and #18 with 23 PP goals. We see a slight improvement on the road jumping to #15 overall hitting at a 16.0% clip and #21 overall with 11 PPG. Their defense is just absolutely abysmal. They rank #4 overall allowing 3.23 goals per game. It's hard to believe but they are even worse on the road ranking #1 allowing 3.89 goals per game. Their Penalty Kill is equally brutal. They rank #29 overall at 74.8% and #4 overall allowing 31 PPGA. They are even worse on the road ranking #29 at 69.5% and #2 allowing 18 PPGA.
There's no point in going over LA's offensive stats so I'll just cover the defensive aspect. LA ranks #27 overall holding opponents to an average of only 2.15 goals per game. They are even better at home holding opponents to 1.96 goals per game ranking them #26 overall. Their PK is tremendous as well. They rank #2 overall at 88.5% and #25 allowing holding their opponents to only 18 PPGA. They stay fairly consistent at home ranking #6 at 87.4% and #17 allowing only 11 PPGA.
The Blue Jackets have scored more than 2 goals only 2 times in their last 10 games. LA has a seemingly dominant defense and have held opponents to 2 or less goals in 9 of their last 10 games.
As always, Good luck everyone.

Going to have another play coming up soon. Sorry for getting the write up in so late. I'm going to try to get it in at least an half an hour before game time from now on. I hate just posting my plays as I like to explain some of the reasons for the pick.

got the kings ml and under 5 in LA so hoping thats a winner for you and me. BOL.
I really wanted to play the under especially at + money, but I couldn't after capping it. The Blue Jackets defense is just that bad, and their PK on the road is an abysmal 69.5%. Good luck coolfool.
