Our best NHL player props for Thursday, October 30
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Connor Bedard anytime goal
Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard is coming off the best game of his young career, and he’s likely to keep that momentum going against the Winnipeg Jets.
In Tuesday’s game against the Ottawa Senators, Bedard scored his first career hat trick and added an assist for a four-point effort. While the Jets feature stronger goaltending than Ottawa, their defense is far worse.
This season, Winnipeg ranks 25th in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60). Bedard has also scored four goals through six career games against the Jets.

Prop #2: Alex Iafallo Under 0.5 points
Winnipeg’s Alex Iafallo profiles as a solid fade candidate. He’s had trouble finding the score sheet and has failed to record a point in four of his past five games.
Iafallo also hasn't recorded a point in eight of his past nine games against Chicago. Those struggles will continue against Blackhawks goaltender Spencer Knight.
Off to a Vezina Trophy-caliber start, Knight is 4-2-1 with a .930 save percentage (SV%) and 2.11 goals-against average (GAA) through his first seven starts this season.

Prop #3: Jack Hughes Over 1.5 points
Later in the evening, the San Jose Sharks host the New Jersey Devils. The Devils have started the season hot, posting an 8-2 record to sit atop the Metropolitan Division.
A big part of that success has been the play of forward Jack Hughes, who has recorded two or more points in four of his past six games. Facing one of the league’s weakest defensive teams, Hughes is in a wonderful position to keep padding his resume.
This season, the Sharks rank 28th in xGA/60. Backing up that poor defense is goaltender Yaroslav Askarov, who owns a .844 SV% and 4.69 GAA through six starts.
