Our best NHL player props for Saturday, December 6

Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.

Prop #1: Nathan MacKinnon Over 1.5 points

+100 at BET99

Nathan MacKinnon is well on his way to the Hart Trophy if he keeps playing at this level. The Colorado Avalanche superstar leads the NHL in numerous categories, including points, racking up 46. That includes 22 goals and 24 assists.

The Nova Scotia native has cashed the Over in points in four of his last five games. While he failed to register a point in the Avs’ last game, he was on fire before that, scoring and assisting several goals. He’s an unstoppable force.

Colorado faces the New York Rangers this afternoon, and MacKinnon already scored twice and tallied a helper against them earlier this season.

Prop #2: Morgan Geekie anytime goal

+140 at BET99

Morgan Geekie has always been a relatively productive player, but he’s on a different level in 2025-26. The 27-year-old is second in the league in goals with 21, and he’s also compiled 10 assists. Geekie is only 12 goals off his career-best of 33, which he set last season.

The Manitoba native has found the back of the net in six of his last eight appearances, and he’s actually scored nine times during that span, with several multi-goal performances. He’s red-hot at the moment, and Geekie just had a goal and two helpers on Thursday against the St. Louis Blues.

The Boston Bruins face the New Jersey Devils this evening, and Geekie had three goals against them in three meetings in 2024-25.

Prop #3: JJ Peterka Over 0.5 assists

+160 at BET99

JJ Peterka continues to be one of the Utah Mammoth’s most productive players. He’s scored 12 times and tallied 10 assists so far this season. The 23-year-old has been playmaking at a high level lately, with three helpers in his last three contests.

On Friday, Peterka had an assist in a victory over the Vancouver Canucks. On Wednesday, he posted two goals and two helpers in a win over the Anaheim Ducks. Peterka is cooking, and he’s facing the struggling Calgary Flames tonight.

He scored in their only meeting this season, but Peterka also had an assist in each game against Calgary last season.
