Our best NHL player props for Saturday, November 29
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Macklin Celebrini Over 0.5 assists
The Vegas Golden Knights host the San Jose Sharks in the late window of Saturday’s NHL slate. San Jose forward Macklin Celebrini has already developed into the star many expected him to become, as he currently ranks second in the league with 36 points.
Celebrini’s playmaking has stood out over the past month, as he has recorded 18 assists over the past 19 games. That success in the offensive zone is likely to continue against Vegas, given that goaltender Carl Lindblom is projected to start between the pipes.
Through six starts, the rookie netminder is 0-4-2 with a .865 SV% and 3.16 GAA.

Prop #2: Kevin Fiala Over 0.5 goals
Speaking of weak goaltending, Jiri Patera is slated to guard the cage as the Vancouver Canucks travel to Los Angeles to take on the Kings in Saturday’s other late game. Patera has made only one start this season, and it went about as poorly as possible with a seven-goals-allowed performance.
If he has another weak performance, it is likely that Los Angeles forward Kevin Fiala is at least partly responsible. Fiala leads the Kings in goals and has now found the back of the net in five of his past 11 games.
Furthermore, the forward has scored 12 goals in his past 17 games against Vancouver.

Prop #3: Quinton Byfield Over 0.5 assists
Sticking with the same game, there is a strong correlation between Fiala scoring a goal and Quinton Byfield recording an assist. Byfield skates alongside Fiala on both the first line and the first power play unit.
Subsequently, Byfield has assisted on each of Fiala’s past three goals. Not that the assist must come on a Fiala goal, given that Byfield has recorded eight assists over the past 13 games.
Meanwhile, the Canucks bleed high-danger scoring chances at an incredibly high rate. By a relatively significant margin, Vancouver ranks last in the league in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60).
