Our best NHL player props for Monday, November 3

Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.

Prop #1: Michael Bunting Over 0.5 points

+140 at BET99

The Nashville Predators host the Vancouver Canucks in a Western Conference tilt Monday evening. Nashville forward Michael Bunting enters this contest in good form, recording four points over the past two games.

That success is likely to continue against Vancouver, a team that has struggled in the defensive zone this season. Entering this matchup, the Canucks rank 26th in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60).

Backing up this struggling blue line is goaltender Thatcher Demko, who has surrendered three or more goals in two of his past three starts. Demko is 1-2 over that stretch with a .899 save percentage.

Prop #2: Connor Bedard Over 2.5 shots on goal

-155 at BET99

Monday’s nightcap features the Seattle Kraken hosting the Chicago Blackhawks. Oddsmakers are still lagging behind the change in approach that Chicago forward Connor Bedard has taken over the past few weeks, following coach Jeff Blashill’s directive to rely on his lethal shot more often.

Bedard has responded, recording three or more shots on goal in each of the past seven games. Books are starting to catch up, but at just 2.5 SOG, this prop remains a strong play.

Furthermore, Bedard recorded four shots on goal in his most recent meeting against the Kraken.

Prop #3: Mason Marchment Under 0.5 points

-150 at BET99

Sticking with the same game, Seattle forward Mason Marchment has struggled offensively. He has shown an unwillingness to get pucks on net and, as a result, has failed to record a point in four of the past five games.

Marchment has also struggled against Chicago over the past few seasons, posting zero points over the past three meetings. To make matters worse, the Blackhawks are starting the best goaltender they’ve had over that span, Spencer Knight.

Knight is playing at a Vezina Trophy-caliber level this season. Through nine starts, he boasts a .913 SV% and 2.62 GAA.
