Even so, he has still cleared this line in 55% of his games and six of his last 10. Dobson’s hit rate increases further when isolating games following a day of rest. He has multiple shots in eight of 12 following an off day.
Dobson averages ~22 minutes per night but has seen an uptick recently, rising above 24 minutes over the last five games.
He ranks 4th on the Canadiens in shot attempts and shots on goal this season. An uptick in usage should only help matters.
The Vegas Golden Knights rank lower in shot suppression vs. defensemen than any other position group over the last 10 games.
They’ve given up volume to the best weapons on the opposing blueline nightly. Jake Sanderson (4), Mikhail Sergachev (4), Olen Zellweger (3), Jackson LaCombe (4), and Adam Fox (4) all soared over their totals against Vegas over the last few games.
