Brad Marchand was one of the main reasons the Florida Panthers erased a 2-0 series deficit against the Toronto Maple Leafs and advanced to the Eastern Conference Final.
He is playing some of his best hockey of the season and the Panthers will look for that to continue as they try and make it to the Stanley Cup Final for the third consecutive year.
Let’s take a look at my favorite Brad Marchand props and NHL picks for Panthers vs. Hurricanes Game 1 on Tuesday, May 20.

Brad Marchand best bet
Brad Marchand anytime goal (+330 at Sports Interaction)
Brad Marchand has fit like a glove alongside Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen on the Florida Panthers' third line.
That line completely dominated Tampa Bay's and Toronto's depth units over the first two rounds of the playoffs, spending a ton of time on the front foot while piling up the goals.
They helped the Panthers control 60% of the expected goal share and 57% of the scoring chances thus far.
That has led to a ton of success on the scoreboard, with Marchand & Co. up a whopping 10-2 in the goal department.
Marchand has gotten better as the playoffs have progressed after hitting the scoresheet only once over the first three games of Florida’s run. He has since picked up at least one point in seven of the last nine and scored in two of the last three games on the road.
Paul Maurice tends to give this line plenty of run against top lines when playing in Florida. They have faced easier matchups on the road and taken full advantage, with Marchand recording nine points over a five-game point streak away from home.
Marchand and this dominant third line will be tough for the Carolina Hurricanes to slow down, especially when using their best personnel against the Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk lines.
Don’t be surprised if Marchand’s road success continues and he finds the back of the net once again.
Brad Marchand same-game parlay
Marchand is a shooting machine against the Hurricanes. For whatever reason, he always seems to pile up the shots vs. a team that generally gives up very little.
He has recorded at least two shots in 12 of the last 14 games against Carolina, including seven straight on the road.
Taking matters a step further, Marchand has generated three shots or more in five of the last six in Carolina. He owns a remarkable track record against the Hurricanes and is worth backing while he’s still red hot.
Lastly, we’re going with an alternate Over on the game total to round out the parlay. Nine of 10 Hurricanes playoff games have featured at least four goals and they’ve scored three or more in all five on home ice.
I think the Hurricanes will score their fair share in the series opener while I like Marchand to help make some noise for the road team.
