Rockets vs Grizzlies prediction

Rockets vs Grizzlies best bet: Alperen Sengun Over 9.5 rebounds (+105)

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun is off to a solid start, averaging 22.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 7.3 assists while shooting 47.9% from the field. The big man is a force down low, and he’s made that clear of late.

Sengun has cashed the Over in boards in back-to-back games, compiling 11 against the Dallas Mavericks and 10 vs. the Boston Celtics. He also brought down 11 in the season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In 2024-25, Sengun dominated the Memphis Grizzlies on the glass. He averaged 12.3 boards per night across three meetings. Memphis is also 18th in the league in opponent rebounds, allowing 53.8 per contest.

Rockets vs Grizzlies same-game parlay

Ja Morant has already been at the center of controversy this season, as the Grizzlies briefly suspended him for conduct detrimental to the team. While his numbers are still respectable with 20.6 points per game, the guard is struggling immensely from downtown.

Ja is averaging just 0.7 makes on 5.1 attempts for a 13% clip this season. He’s gone 0-for-10 from long range across his last two games. Considering how poorly Morant is shooting the rock, the Under holds value.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is a clear bright spot on Memphis, and he’s cooking at the moment. The big man has cashed the Over in points in back-to-back games, scoring 21 on Monday against the Detroit Pistons and 20 on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.

In three matchups with Houston last season, Jackson Jr averaged 19.7 PPG.

Rockets vs Grizzlies SGP

  • Alperen Sengun Over 9.5 rebounds
  • Ja Morant Under 1.5 threes
  • Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 18.5 points

Our "from downtown" SGP: Gotta be KD

Kevin Durant is averaging 26.2 PPG, and he’s hit the Over in points in two of his last three outings. He showed out against Memphis last season, averaging 31 PPG across four meetings.

Rockets vs Grizzlies SGP

  • Alperen Sengun Over 9.5 rebounds
  • Ja Morant Under 1.5 threes
  • Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 18.5 points
  • Kevin Durant Over 25.5 points
