With a Sunday NBA slate that only has three games, there might not be a ton of options for player props, but there are a few favorable matchups.

The Brooklyn Nets are riding the hot hand of a wily ol’ veteran, the New Orleans Pelicans are set to expose a wishy-washy defense, and one of the best players in the league can beat up on an opponent down its star.

My three NBA picks for Sunday, November 3 all focus on players set to put up big offensive numbers.

NBA player props for November 3

Prop bet #1: Dennis Schroder Over 25.5 points and assists

-120 at bet365

Riding the momentum of an impressive showing at the Olympics, Dennis Schroder has come out on fire this season with the Brooklyn Nets.

Though it’s a small sample size, the 31-year-old is averaging a career-high 22 points and eight assists through six games. That includes him topping 25.5 points and assists in four of six games.

What’s really helped Schroder score 20-plus points in four of his last five is his 3-point shooting. He’s connected on 20 of 35 threes (57.1%) during that stretch.

That ability from behind the arc should help him combine for at least 26 points and assists against the Detroit Pistons. Detroit is allowing the 10th-most threes per game (14.2) and the eighth-highest 3-point percentage to opponents (37.6%).

The Pistons have especially struggled with defending point guards early this season. New head coach J.B. Bickerstaff’s team is allowing the fifth-most points per game to point guards in the NBA (27.43).

And while Detroit has been middle of the pack in terms of assists allowed -— 25.2 per game overall and 6.73 to point guards — Schroder has been one of the top passers in the league this season.

He’s sixth in the league in assists per game and has yet to have fewer than six in a game - he’s averaging 9.6 over his last three games.

Schroder has an ideal matchup to keep on putting up career-best numbers

Prop bet #2: Brandon Ingram Over 2.5 made 3-pointers

+125 at bet365

Despite the inconsistent start to the season for the New Orleans Pelicans, Brandon Ingram has been hot through six games.

Slenderman is the leading scorer for the Pelicans (23 points per game) and his three-point shooting has been a huge reason why.

Ingram is hitting a career-high 2.5 threes per game on a career-best 40.5% shooting from deep. Obviously, that’s through just six games, but he’s already hit three-plus threes in four games.

He’s in the perfect position to keep up this pace against an Atlanta Hawks defense that has continued last year’s defensive problems into this season.

Not only are the Hawks ranked third-last in the NBA in defensive rating (119.3), but they’re also giving up the most 3-pointers per game (17.0) and allowing the highest 3-point percentage in the NBA (41%).

The Hawks have been cooked by wings this season, too. Atlanta is allowing the second-most points per game to small forwards this season and the most threes (4.13).

Between Ingram’s hot streak from behind the arc and Atlanta’s perimeter defense issues, I love the value on these odds with a $10 winning bet paying a $12.50 profit.

Prop bet #3: Luka Doncic Over 27.5 points

-115 at bet365

The Dallas Mavericks game against the Orlando Magic would be a completely different matchup if Paolo Banchero was healthy. But with Jamahl Mosley’s star out, Dallas is set to thrive.

Leading the charge will be Luka Doncic. The potential MVP candidate is averaging 27.2 points per game thus far and has gone Over 27.5 in three of five games.

He’s also got the second-highest usage rate in the NBA among players playing more than 20 minutes per game (33.7%), so he’ll have plenty of opportunities to push this Orlando defense.

The Magic’s defense has been a little uneven on the perimeter early in the season. It’s allowing the fifth-highest 3-point percentage in the NBA (38.3%). And of course, Doncic is one of the most frequent shooters from deep in the NBA.

He’s taken seven-plus threes in every game this season, he’s hit at least three in three games, and he’s averaging the 10th-most 3-point attempts per game in the NBA (9.6).

Orlando has also been particularly bad against point guards. The Magic are allowing the third-most points per game to lead guards (29.07) and the fourth-most threes (3.8).

Without Banchero, I expect Doncic to have yet another premier performance.
