Prop #1: Alperen Sengun to record a double-double

-125 at bet365

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun rolls into tonight’s game with a double-double in five straight outings, so I’m surprised we’re getting such a good price here.

Sengun is averaging nearly 11 rebounds per game in December, and boards will be key if he’s going to post his sixth straight.

The Rockets and Denver Nuggets faced off just five days ago, and Sengun finished with 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Prop #2: Donovan Clingan Over 10.5 rebounds

-105 at bet365

Donovan Clingan has had a strong start to his sophomore season for the Portland Trail Blazers, leading the team with 10.1 rebounds per game. In fact, he’s one of just three NBA sophomores averaging at least 10 boards this season.

The 7-foot-2 center has cleared 10.5 rebounds in four of his last six games and should make relatively easy work of the Sacramento Kings tonight.

Sacramento ranks 29th in rebounds per game (25.5) and 26th in opponent rebounds allowed (46.7). The Kings will also be without their lone elite rebounder, Domantas Sabonis, who remains sidelined for at least another month with a knee injury.

With Sabonis out, Sacramento’s top rebounders are Keegan Murray and Russell Westbrook — a mismatch Clingan should fully exploit.

Prop #3: Trey Murphy III Over 19.5 points

-120 at bet365

The New Orleans Pelicans may not be very good, but Trey Murphy III has been excellent, especially since the calendar flipped to December.

Murphy is averaging 25.7 ppg this month on 58% shooting from the field, eclipsing 19.5 points in each of his last seven contests.

The Indiana Pacers have not been able to turn around their nightmarish season, and that’s partially on their brutal team defense. Indiana is giving up 118.1 ppg, the ninth-worst mark in the NBA.

NOLA's forward will lead the Pellies offense again en route to another 20+ point performance.
