At 50-30-2 against the spread, the Atlanta Hawks finished the regular season atop the ATS standings.

The NBA regular season is now completed, but perhaps the most impressive betting stat to emerge is the fact that underdogs and favorites went 601-601-27 against the spread to finish at an even 50 percent cover rate.

The best ATS regular season team was the Atlanta Hawks, who went 50-30-2, while the bottom team in the standings as the New York Knicks who finished 33-46-3 ATS.

Here are some other key betting notes from the 2014-15 regular season:

Over/Under: 583-633 (52.06 percent)
Home Teams: 588-615-27 ATS (48.88 percent)
Road Teams: 615-588-27 ATS (51.12 percent)
Favorites (straight up): 865-364 (70.38 percent)
Home Favorites (straight up): 578-236 (71.01 percent)
