Suns vs Bucks player prop picks analysis

Jae Crowder Over 10.5 Points (-120)

Jae Crowder is one of the streakiest players in the entire league, as he’s either extremely hot or extremely cold. However, he generally shoots the ball well in bunches and he did shoot well in Game 2, going 3 for 5 from the outside.

Look for Crowder to set the tone early for the Suns in this one, much like he did in a 19-point performance against the Clippers in Game 6. The veteran is fresh off a run to the NBA Finals with the Miami Heat last year, so he has been there before and knows his team is leaning on him.

With a Milwaukee crowd that is sure to be somewhat intimidating for some of Phoenix’s young players, Crowder is going to need to lead by example and he should come out and play a good game for the Suns.

Chris Paul Under 2.5 Turnovers (-145)

Before coughing the ball up six times in Game 2, Chris Paul had recorded two or fewer turnovers in 12 of his last 13 games. The Point God takes better care of the basketball than anybody in the entire league, so he was likely fuming when he watched the tape on that one.

Paul looked uncharacteristically out of it all game in Phoenix’s Game 2 victory, but he knows the opportunity in front of him in this one. Even with some injuries to his dominant hand, you should expect the veteran to bounce back and be in complete control of this game.

Paul might not erupt offensively like he did in Game 1, as Jrue Holiday is one of the better perimeter defenders in the league and was guarding him almost exclusively in Game 2. But the veteran can be more careful and he’s not going to just toss it away like he did a few times last game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 32.5 Points (-116)

Giannis Antetokounmpo turned in one of the best performances of his career in Game 2, finishing with 42 points and 12 rebounds on 15-of-22 shooting from the floor. Unfortunately for the Bucks, that wasn’t enough for them to come away with a win. But, that wasn’t his fault and it’s hard to imagine him playing better.

As Milwaukee heads back home, it should be expected that both Holiday and Khris Middleton will shoot a bit better. If those two can start hitting some shots, the Bucks won’t be relying as much on Giannis as a scorer.

Also, the Suns are going to be focusing on finding a way to make Giannis take tougher shots. He got way too many easy attempts around the basket in Game 2, so Phoenix will want to limit those moving forward.
