Favorites to win the FireKeepers Casino 400

Kyle Larson (+300) is again the man to beat, which should come as no surprise. Larson has racked up five victories this season (six if we count the All-Star Race) and is the comfortable favorite to win the Cup Series title this year. He's also a past champ in this event (2017).

Martin Truex Jr. sits second on the odds board at +600. Truex had a stretch back in March-April where he looked like the driver to beat this season, but faltered over the summer to lose traction in the Cup Series  standings. He has two Top-3 finishes in the past four races, and is still liable to finish the season strong.

Just behind him at +650 is Kyle Busch, who's been on a heater himself of late. Despite disappointing results in New Hampshire and Indy, Busch has posted Top-5 results in five of his last seven races, including a win at Pocono.

And rounding out the Top 5 at +750 odds are Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin. Elliott has been prolific on the circuit this season, but both the defending Cup Series champ's victories have come on road tracks. Hamlin, meanwhile, despite being second in the overall standings, is still searching for his first win this season. For what it's worth, Hamlin did go back-to-back in this event years ago, winning in both 2010 and 2011.

How to bet on NASCAR

The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.

Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
