Our 3 best MLB player props for Saturday, September 6
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Brandon Lowe Over 0.5 RBI
Brandon Lowe is in very good form at the plate. He has hit safely in eight of his last nine games, during which time he drove in 11 runs.
He’s in a good spot to build on that success Saturday night against the Cleveland Guardians. Lowe will face off against Tanner Bibee for his first few at bats and that’s a matchup that appears favorable to the hitter.
Lowe has feasted on right-handed pitching this season, while Bibee has given up a little more power to lefties than righties. The splits are good.
Bibee leans most heavily on fastballs and changeups against left-handed bats. Lowe has hit .276 or better vs. each pitch while combining for 15 homers.
With a pair of .290+ hitters in Chandler Simpson and Yandy Diaz directly in front of Lowe, there should be opportunities to cash in with just one timely hit.

Prop #2: Mickey Moniak Over 1.5 total bases
Mickey Moniak has piled up the bases at home all season long, which makes sense given he plays in the league’s most hitter-friendly ballpark.
Moniak has hit .305 with a .931 OPS in Colorado, drastically better than the .217 average and .651 OPS he’s mustered up in road games. Clearly, playing at Coors is a great benefit to him.
What I love about Moniak in this spot is that he also has a mouthwatering matchup perfectly suited for him to find success. Randy Vasquez has struggled against left-handed hitters, allowing a .274 average, a 1.7 WHIP, and 1.40 home runs per nine innings.
Vasquez also relies heavily on the pitches Moniak is most productive against. His most used pitches are the cutter and fastball. Moniak owns a .259 average and a .370 ISO against the former, with a .264 average and a .231 ISO against the latter. Those are great numbers even though they also include road at bats.
Moniak cleared this line in the series opener, and I expect he’ll do it again in Game 2.

Prop #3: Shea Langeliers O 1.5 total bases
To say Shea Langeliers excels against left-handed pitching would be an understatement. He destroys it.
Langeliers is sporting a remarkable .360 average and .303 ISO against lefties on the year. Exactly 25% of his hits have gone for homers as well; he’s generating insane levels of power.
The good times should continue against Yusei Kikuchi. The veteran lefty has struggled to take the power out of right-handed bats, allowing 21 homers to date. That’s a plus for Langeliers.
Perhaps more importantly, Kikuchi’s go-to pitch when facing righties is the fastball. Langeliers has hit .313 with an .813 SLG% and a .500 ISO against fastballs thrown by left-handed pitchers. He’s more dangerous against that pitch than any other.
Langeliers is amidst a seven-game home run drought – one of his longest stretches of the season – and he’s recorded 2+ bases just once over the last five games. This is the perfect spot for him to get back on track.
