As the dreaded “dead season” approaches for sports fans, sportsbooks confirmed there are only three college football teams that are favored in all of their 2025 regular-season games.
Clemson, Notre Dame, and Georgia, all of whom made the most recent College Football Playoff, are favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook in all of their fall games, according to the latest College Football odds.
Key takeaways
- Notre Dame has the easiest schedule of the teams mentioned
- Georgia is third in odds to win the SEC despite being favored in every game
- Ohio State or Texas will be favored in every game once the line for their head-to-head matchup is determined
The Fighting Irish and third-year coach Marcus Freeman appeared in the National Championship game earlier this year, where they were defeated by Ohio State, 34-23.
They took down Indiana, Georgia, and Penn State in the run to the final round of the first 12-team College Football Playoff and secured their status as one of the top destinations for players at all levels.
Notre Dame’s toughest matchups are expected to be their season opener at Miami, their home opener against Texas A&M, and a rivalry matchup with USC in mid-October.
DraftKings has the Irish as just a 2.5-point favorite for the Miami game, their closest margin of the season.
Despite being favored in every game, there are +150 odds on Notre Dame beating its projected win total of over/under 10.5 wins. The legendary football program is also +1200 to win the National Championship (tied-sixth).
Don’t forget about Clemson
Joining Notre Dame in the elite tier of non-underdogs is Clemson, the reigning ACC champions and first-round victims of Texas in the last CFP.
With at least five players in contention to be drafted in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Tigers are looking at potentially winning their first national title since 2018.
Dabo Swinney’s crew start and finish the season with difficult matchups against SEC opponents, LSU and South Carolina, against whom they are favored by three and 5.5 points. They’re also 12.5-point favorites for an Oct. 4 matchup with Bill Belichick’s North Carolina.
Bettors can snag Clemson over 9.5 wins for -120 odds at DraftKings.
Additionally, the Tigers are a heavy +130 (43.5 percent implied chance) to win the ACC and +1500 to win the CFP championship (seventh).
Is Georgia’s dynasty still in progress?
Out of the headlines but never out of the good graces of the oddsmakers is Georgia, a team that moved on from veteran quarterback Carson Beck after winning the SEC championship and falling to Notre Dame in the second round of the CFP.
The Bulldogs will hand the reins over to sophomore QB Gunner Stockton, who went 20-32 for 234 yards and a touchdown in the playoff loss to the Irish. He and Kirby Smart’s defense will lead them through a tough schedule that includes:
Sept. 13 @ Tennessee (UGA -5.5)
Sept. 27 vs. Alabama (UGA -4)
Oct. 11 @ Auburn (UGA -7.5)
Oct. 18 vs. Ole Miss (UGA -9.5)
Nov. 1 @ Florida (UGA -9.5)
Nov. 15 vs. Texas (UGA -2.5)
Even though Georgia is favored in their head-to-head matchups with Texas and Alabama, both schools have better odds to win the SEC (+250 and +380) than the Bulldogs, who are +400 (20 percent implied chance).
UGA is also +700 to win the National Championship, trailing only Ohio State (+500) and Texas (+550).
One giant to join the ranks
One of Ohio State or Texas will be favored in all of their games once the line settles on their head-to-head matchup on Nov. 4. DraftKings was the only major sportsbook that had Ohio State favored (-1.5), though odds are not available at the time of writing.
Most legal sportsbooks opened with the Longhorns favored by 2.5 points.
