Sportradar is bringing the future of legal sports betting to tennis.

On Tuesday, the sports technology company announced a partnership with Tennis Data Innovations, the data arm of the Association of Tennis Professionals.

ATP Media will also be involved in a deal that gives Sportradar streaming rights for sports betting and media data rights for all ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour events, which feature the top men's tennis players in the world.

Later this month, Sportradar will launch ATP Service+, a product targeted at current and new sports bettors. ATP Service+ will offer bettors expanded in-play wagering markets, as well as innovative and augmented streaming options.

“This truly collaborative partnership will result, through the application of technologies, such as computer vision and AI, in the creation of engaging products and services as part of our ATP Service+ offering. This will allow us to effectively monetize the relationship while delivering new ways for bettors and fans to experience the sport of tennis.”

- Carsten Koerl, Sportradar CEO

Additional services

Sportradar will also develop in-depth stats and analytics alongside TDI to inform bettors and fans, and give instance access to live-streaming matches.

The partnership involves creating the Tennis Innovation Lab to help the ATP become the most technologically advanced sport in the world.

“The partnership will be a catalyst for innovation to create unique growth opportunities across new global markets. Our aim is not only to deliver great enhancements for our existing fans but also attract a generation of new fans to the game.”

- David Lampitt, TDI CEO

Sportradar also brings integrity services to the ATP, as the technology company will monitor and investigate match-fixing and betting corruption threats.

Busy year

Sportradar reported $211.8 million in revenue during the third quarter. The 12% year-over-year increase was sparked by diverse partnerships and services in recent months throughout the globe.

The Swiss-based company secured a supplier license with Maine in November. That came right after a deal was struck to bring sports betting solutions to CAGE, a Caribbean and Latin American sports betting company.

The betting provider also secured agreements to provide data in Canada for Sportsnet, while enhancing the odds feed for the sports betting supplier Huddle.
