Handle dips

The February profit spike came despite the handle dropping 21.7% to $592.5 million, the lowest amount wagered since August. It helped operators that they spent 37% less in promotional wagering compared to February 2025.

Pennsylvania online sports betting accounted for $568.9 million of the total handle and all but the $513,600 of the revenue that retail sportsbooks produced.

The Keystone State’s $12.9-million monthly cut from taxable revenue of $37.3 million was also greatly improved after bringing in less than $3 million a year ago.

FanDuel dominates

Fanatics  $49.5 million $4 million

FanDuel continued its dominance over Keystone State bettors with a 12.6% hold on a February-best $191.5-million handle that produced over $24 million in gross revenue, which was only down about $3 million from January. DraftKings won back 8.1% on $179.5 million in wagers.

Fanatics stayed above BetMGM to finish third with a $49.5-million handle, winning $4 million in February. BetMGM produced a 7.9% hold on $40.7 million in wagers, while bet365 also surpassed $3 million on a handle of nearly $35 million.

That led to over $111 million in tax revenue for Pennsylvania from online casino slots, table games, and poker.
