Gary Saikaley was sentenced to 18-months in person for being the bookie for an illegal sports betting website.

Saikaley, who worked out of Ottawa, Ont., admitted to taking $5 million in bets in slightly more than a years time as the administrator of the site. The money allegedly flowed to Benny Manasseri, a well-known mobster, who also stands trail for the charges.

This was not Saikaley's first arrest, in 2006 he was fined $22,500 for bookmaking and has also served a seven year prison sentence for a 1986 shooting.
