The top sports betting operator in the U.S. is integrating customer wagers within the company’s television network.

Key Takeaways

  • FanDuel Sports Network will give bettors access to their wagers during NBA and NHL games.

  • The innovation comes through the sports betting operator’s partnership with Main Street Sports Group.

  • The interactive technology is a major enhancement for both companies.

Flutter Entertainment-owned FanDuel announced Tuesday that users in markets where the sportsbook operator can link their sports betting accounts with the FanDuel Sports Network will be able to access the new interactive feature, Bet Tracking.

Users can follow their wagers in real time during NBA and NHL games on FanDuel’s networks by toggling between the interactive feature and the broadcast through a partnership with Main Street Sports Group, which owns the FanDuel Sports Network.

“The integration of Bet Tracking into live NBA and NHL games on FanDuel Sports Network represents another significant milestone in our partnership and our commitment to delivering an unparalleled viewing experience to fans,” said Mike Raffensperger, president of sports, FanDuel. “Over the past year, our partnership with FanDuel Sports Network has elevated our brand presence, deepened engagement across our products, and proven the impact of combining live local sports with interactive technology.”

FanDuel announced several other enhancements, including expanded on-screen odds on nightly NBA and NHL broadcasts in Bet Tracking markets. The network will also provide more live content of EuroLeague Basketball and PDC Darts, as well as syndicated content from The Ringer.

FanDuel, which recently launched its online sportsbook in Missouri, is also offering a promotion in which customers who place a $5 wager or enter any daily fantasy sports contest will receive a three-month trial subscription to the FanDuel Sports Network’s direct-to-consumer streaming service.

Partnership leads to growth

FanDuel partnered with Main Street Group in 2024. Networks include:

  • FanDuel Sports Network Florida
  • FanDuel Sports Network Kansas City
  • FanDuel Sports Network Indiana
  • FanDuel Sports Network Midwest
  • FanDuel Sports Network North

  • FanDuel Sports Network SoCal
  • FanDuel Sports Network South
  • FanDuel Sports Network Southeast
  • FanDuel Sports Network Southwest

“In markets where FanDuel Sports Network and FanDuel’s Sportsbook operate together, we’re seeing meaningful, sustained growth,” said Eric Ratchman, chief revenue officer, Main Street Sports Group.

“Fans who engage with FanDuel’s on-screen integrations are watching nearly twice as many games per season and staying connected with our product more than 40 days longer on average. That level of engagement underscores the power of how this partnership is helping to shape the future of local sports viewing.”
