With just over a month until WrestleMania, Fanatics announced on Thursday the launch of a special WWE-branded slot machine game.

The new game is live for all Fanatics Casino customers beginning Thursday, March 12.

Key Takeaways

  • The online casino game is live in four states.

  • WWE fans will notice 20 star wrestlers and an iconic voice.

  • Fanatics is quickly growing in multiple areas of the gaming industry.

“WrestleMania®: Road to Gold” is exclusive to Fanatics Casino, which is legal in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

The game adds the high-flying, hard-hitting feeling of the WWE to slot machine-style gaming. Developed by White Hat Studios, the game includes 20 professional wrestling stars, headlined by the beloved Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley.

“Drawing on more than 70 years of entertainment heritage, WrestleMania®: Road to Gold is designed to capture the spirit of WWE’s iconic brand, providing WWE fans across regulated US iCasino markets with a new way to interact with the global brand,” a Fanatics announcement confirming the launch said.

Road to Gold adds another sports-inspired gaming option for Fanatics customers as Fanatics continues to dive deeper into the world of sports with its memorabilia site, sportsbook, and online casino.

“WWE is an iconic brand steeped in entertainment history, and the aim was to collaborate closely to channel that legacy into WrestleMania®: Road to Gold,” said Armen Tatarevic, VP of Gaming at White Hat Studios. “From superstar athletes to headline events, there are numerous touchpoints that fans will enjoy, and this is a major IP launch for White Hat Studios as we continue to deliver a main event experience to casino players in the United States.”

Road to Gold players will be sent on a journey through WWE Premium Live Events. Progressive bonus rewards influenced by SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and Money in the Bank.

The game will also feature commentary by Michael Cole, an iconic voice of WWE since 1997.

Adding another high-profile attraction

According to Fanatics’ announcement, the number of athletes and personalities that were added to Road to Gold make it one of the “most comprehensive and immersive IP games” in the online casino market.

As customers progress through the attraction, they will have the opportunity to secure more winnings amid more intense gameplay.

“WWE is a worldwide entertainment phenomenon, and the energy of the brand has been captured perfectly in WrestleMania®: Road to Gold,” said Conor Grant, President, Casino at Fanatics Betting and Gaming.

“This new WWE-branded experience on Fanatics Casino reflects our strategy to leverage the power of Fanatics IP assets to offer customers a premium, differentiated experience.”

Fanatics partnered with developer White Hat Studios in 2024, adding its portfolio of online slots and online games to its catalog in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Its growth in the online casino industry over the last few years has helped it reach even more customers.
