Caesars sportsbook is rolling out an entirely revamped betting menu ahead of tip-off on NBA Opening Night on Tuesday.

The sportsbook has launched its “most expansive basketball wagering experience to date,” Caesars Senior Director, Public Relations & Communications Brad Harwood shared with Covers on Monday.

Key Takeaways

  • Caesars is allowing customers to bet on team markets such as longest winning streak, best record, and longest season-opening win streak.

  • Customers can also wager on player futures, such as which player will score 50 points first and who will average 30 points.

  • Bettors can compete for progressive jackpot prizes for the first time during the NBA season.

Caesars is a well-known global gaming brand and one of America’s “Big Four” sports betting operators. Its new release will give its customers more opportunities and ways to bet on the action than ever before.

Among the operator’s new offerings are markets and a variety of enhancements designed to deliver an accelerated, streamlined process, complete with a new betting menu. The sportsbook is also offering more rewards for its customers than it did last season.

One of many new NBA betting markets that are available is the “Best Record,” in which the reigning champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, are clear-cut favorites (-120). The Cleveland Cavaliers (+550), Houston Rockets (+650), and Denver Nuggets (+850) are next in line.

OKC is also favored in another new market, “Team to Have the Longest Win Streak.” The champs are +165, while the Cavs (+600), Rockets (+800), and Nuggets (+1000) also fill out the next three positions.

Caesars bettors can also bet on team winning streaks without having to pick the exact team. “Any Team to Start the Season” allows users to choose a record that any team in the league can reach to start the year for the odds of their choice.

Current odds are as follows:

  • 5-0 (-650)

  • 7-0 (-130)

  • 8-0 (+160)

  • 10-0 (+300)

  • 15-0 (+1400)

New player prop betting markets

The new Caesars NBA odds markets extend beyond teams. Bettors can find odds for their favorite players in markets such as “First Player to Score 50+” and “Player to Average 30+ Points.”

Luka Doncic is the favorite to record the first 50-point game at +900, while Giannis Antetokounmpo and reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are next at +1000.

That list is flipped in the “Player to Average 30+ Points” market. Gilgeous-Alexander is the favorite at -500, while Antetokounmpo (-325) and Doncic (-115) are next in line.

Other notable odds include Nikola Jokic (+240), Joel Embiid and Anthony Edwards (+250 each), Victor Wembanyama (+950), and Zion Williamson (+1200).

Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers can also tap into the “LeBron James to Score 10+ Points in Each Regular Season Game He Plays” market and receive -135 odds for choosing “Yes.” James, who turns 41 in December, hit this milestone in 1,292 straight games and hasn’t been held to single digits since Jan. 5, 2007.

Progressive jackpots and expanded parlays

On top of the new betting markets, Caesars is debuting new progressive jackpots tied to key moments throughout the NBA campaign. As time passes, jackpots will continue to grow until they are claimed by a winner.

Caesars recently had a progressive jackpot reach $500,000 during the MLB season. Terms and conditions for the contest are available on the Caesars sportsbook app.

Live Quick Pick Parlays also allows customers to assemble parlays in real time, in combination with an expanded same-game parlay betting menu.

The new NBA season will begin on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET when the Thunder host the Rockets. The Thunder will raise the banner commemorating the franchise’s first championship, while Kevin Durant will play his first minutes in a Rockets uniform.
