Online sports betting and casino operator BetMGM announced Thursday that $122.1 million was accumulated in progressive jackpots in 2025, with the operator saying it ended the year on a high note after an online casino player in Michigan won $900,000 from an $8 spin on Bison Fury in December.
Key Takeaways
- BetMGM handed out over $122 million in progressive jackpots last year.
- Michigan players accumulated the most prize money, followed by Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ontario.
- BetMGM also started 2026 with a $600,000 jackpot being won in Michigan.

“In 2025, BetMGM brought big names to iGaming - from the Wizard of Oz slots and Rakin’ Bacon to branded Price is Right casino games. Jackpots transformed gameplay into legendary moments for our players and continues to be one of the ways we leverage our exclusive relationship with MGM Resorts International,” said Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM's vice president of gaming.
BetMGM also mentioned a Michigan player who won $600,000 from a $2 spin on MegaJackpots Cash Eruption a few days into the new year.

BetMGM signs deal with Blues
BetMGM has taken 2026 in stride, announcing earlier this week that it will become the latest sports betting partner of the NHL's St. Louis Blues. The partnership comes on the heels of a marketing partnership between the Blues and daily fantasy sports operator Underdog in October and another with DraftKings in November.
Under the agreement, BetMGM branding will be present throughout the Blues' home, the Enterprise Center, and prominently featured on social media content and hospitality experiences.
“BetMGM has forged iconic partnerships that celebrate Missouri’s rich sports tradition, and welcoming the St. Louis Blues is an exciting milestone,” said Matt Prevost, BetMGM chief revenue officer. “With St. Louis native Jon Hamm as the face of our brand and a legendary franchise like the Blues as our partner, we’re creating unforgettable experiences for fans across the Show-Me State.”
BetMGM also mentioned responsible gambling was at the forefront of its partnership with the Blues, stating it is proud to provide resources that help players gamble responsibly. Steve Chapman, the Blues' chief revenue and marketing officer, added that BetMGM shares its own interests, highlighting the operator’s focus on responsible gambling initiatives.
