The Los Angeles Rams entered the season as Super Bowl favorites, but an upset loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon dropped them to 2-4 on the season. The oddsmakers have adjusted the Super Bowl odds as such.
- Rams’ Super Bowl odds drop to +1000.
- 3 teams have shorter Super Bowl odds than the Rams.
- 49ers, Bills among Super Bowl favorites after Week 6.
It looked as if the Los Angeles Rams were loading up for another deep run after trading for Myles Garrett and bringing back Aaron Donald. However, they’re now 2-4 through six weeks, with those wins coming against the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, not exactly the most impressive of opponents.
The Rams were -14.5 home favorites on Sunday afternoon against the Cardinals. They took the lead in the final minute, but a failed two-point attempt earlier in the game came back to haunt them as Chad Ryland nailed a walk-off field goal for Arizona.
That’s now two straight losses for the Rams, with a road matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders next week.
Their Super Bowl odds now sit at +1,000 at DraftKings and FanDuel. The Rams' odds hadn't been longer than +650 all season, according to Sports Odds History.
Meanwhile, the San Francisco 49ers are looking to stay undefeated when they host the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football. The NFC West is San Francisco’s to lose at this point, and while you can’t win a Super Bowl in Week 6, taking a three-game lead in the division and improving an already great start can certainly help.
The 49ers are as short as +580 to win the Super Bowl at DraftKings Sportsbook, and are +600 favorites at FanDuel Sportsbook.
| Team | DraftKings odds | FanDuel odds |
|---|---|---|
| +580 | +600 | |
| +720 | +700 | |
| +850 | +950 | |
| +900 | +1,000 | |
| +1,000 | +1,000 | |
| +1,100 | +1,200 | |
| +1,400 | +1,300 | |
| +1,600 | +1,500 |
The Buffalo Bills aren’t too far behind after holding on for a 33-30 victory in Las Vegas this week. Buffalo now sits atop the AFC East at 5-1, but that lone loss did come against the New England Patriots.
Buffalo has gone on the road for wins over the Rams and Raiders in the last two weeks, though, establishing the Bills atop the conference.
DraftKings is currently offering the best odds for the Bills to win the Super Bowl at +720, with FanDuel right there at +700.
Contenders not far behind
The Kansas City Chiefs are the only other team with Super Bowl odds shorter than the Rams’ at +1,000. Kansas City is +950 at FanDuel and +850 at DraftKings after a 22-6 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Kansas City is the lone remaining undefeated team in the AFC, joining the 49ers as the two teams yet to taste defeat this season across the league. It’s understandable that San Francisco has shorter odds to win it all than Kansas City, given the depth and overall roster of both sides.
The Baltimore Ravens are also priced as short as +900 at DraftKings, with FanDuel offering a +1,000 price. That seems a bit generous after a loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 6, but if Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are healthy, the Ravens could be a tough team to deal with in the playoffs.
