After Lucas Herbert edged out a one-shot victory over Patrick Reed and Danny Lee at the 2021 Bermuda Championship last weekend, the golf world moves to Mexico - where a much stronger field will be teeing it off for this week's 2021 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba, including Viktor Hovland, who will look to defend his 2020 title.
The World Wide Technology Championship is a FedEx Cup full-point event, with the winner adding 500 FedEx Cup points to their total.
With the tournament underway, here's a look at the live odds to win the World Wide Technology Championship.

World Wide Technology Championship pre-tournament favorites
Rounding into some form and leading the way on the odds board heading into the week is Justin Thomas. He's currently OWGR No. 7, he finished T18 at The CJ Cup @ Summit a couple weeks ago, T4 at The TOUR Championship (72 Hole Scores), T4 at THE NORTERN TRUST, as well as playing solid golf at the Ryder Cup to help the Americans dominate the Europeans. His odds sit at +1,200.
Right behind JT is OWGR No. 17 and defending champion, Viktor Hovland (+1,600). He won this tournament last year by one stroke over Aaron Wise and will look to defend his title this weekend. He's won three times across the PGA and European Tours over the past year and a half, but comes in with mostly average finishes over the last couple months. He should be able to refind some magic in a place he's won before.
Behind the two top dogs are Abraham Ancer (+2,000) and Tony Finau (+2,500). Both guys have recent wins under their belt - Ancer won the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational in early August, and Finau ended his near five-year winning drought a couple weeks later by winning THE NORTHERN TRUST. Both guys finished inside the Top 12 at this event last year and will very likely be in the mix again come Sunday afternoon.
Below the pack are a slew of guys available at +2,800, including Patrick Reed, who finished T2 at the Bermuda Championship last weekend.

How to bet on PGA Tour odds
The most popular way to bet on golf is by simply picking the winner, which is also referred to as outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, however. Some of the more popular markets include head-to-head betting, where sportsbooks pair up two golfers and you simply choose who you think will have the lower score over the course of the weekend or for one round only.
There are also 3-way betting markets (choose the best golfer among three choices) and group betting (choose the best golfer amongst a group of players).
Other ways to wager include Top-5/Top-10/Top-20 finish, top golfer by nationality, to make the cut/to not make the cut, and the leader after each round. Then, of course, there's the popular prop bet of whether or not there will be a hole in one at the tournament.
