The FedExCup Fall gets underway this week as the North Course at Silverado Resort hosts the Procore Championship. Formerly the Fortinet Championship, this venue has hosted the event annually since 2014.
This year is a bit more special, as many of the world’s top players are making the trip to California for a tune-up ahead of the Ryder Cup.
Below, I break down the Procore Championship odds at Fanatics and highlight two outright picks, two prop picks, and one first-round leader pick for the week.
Golf picks for the Procore Championship 2025
- Henley to win outright (+1500)
- Morikawa to win outright (+2500)
- Theegala Top 20 (+280)
- Young Top 20 (+100)
- Scheffler first-round leader (+1100)
Procore Championship outright picks
Outright pick: Russell Henley
+1500 at Fanatics
The North Course at Silverado Resort is a track that rewards a strong short game. Last season, each of the Top-6 finishers ranked among the Top 29 in the field in strokes gained around the green.
That was the only metric in which such a trend occurred. This presents a favorable opportunity for Russell Henley, who holds the shortest odds to win this tournament outside of Scottie Scheffler.
One of the best short-game players in the world, Henley ranks sixth on Tour this year in strokes gained around the green.
Outright pick: Collin Morikawa
+2500 at Fanatics
Another key short-game trend at this course: the highest distribution of approach shots comes from the 100-125-yard range. Collin Morikawa thrives from that distance, ranking eighth on Tour in greens-in-regulation percentage when hitting approaches from that zone.
Morikawa hasn’t played here since 2020, when he posted an impressive T10 finish. His game has continued to improve since then.
Procore Championship prop picks
Finishing position pick: Sahith Theegala Top 20
+280 at Fanatics
Speaking of course history, Sahith Theegala has dominated the North Course. He's finished T7 or better in each of his past three appearances here, including his lone win on Tour in 2023.
If he can win here, he can certainly finish inside the Top 20, even against a stronger-than-usual field. This line is longer due to Theegala’s recent poor form, but if there’s a venue for him to bounce back, this is it.
Finishing position pick: Cameron Young Top 20
+100 at Fanatics
While Theegala enters the week in a slump, perhaps no one enters in better form than Cameron Young. A month ago, Young hoisted his first Tour trophy at the Wyndham Championship.
Since then, he's posted three consecutive Top-11 finishes across the FedExCup Playoffs. He gained strokes in every category during the last two tournaments, entering this week in well-rounded form.
Procore Championship first-round pick
Round 1 pick: Scottie Scheffler first-round leader
+1100 at Fanatics
This market offers a way to gain exposure to Scottie Scheffler without paying his outright price of +220. There’s not much to say that isn’t already known: Scheffler is far and away the best player in the world, and certainly in this field.
That said, he could easily go wire-to-wire, given he starts as fast as he finishes. He leads the PGA Tour in first-round scoring average this season.
