LIV Golf is back on the docket for a second straight week after Joaquin Niemann snagged his fifth LIV victory in Mexico City last week.

We're off to South Korea this time around, and it's a handful of usual suspects atop the LIV Golf South Korea odds board.

LIV Golf South Korea picks and predictions

Outright pick: Jon Rahm
+700 at bet365

There are no weaknesses in Jon Rahm’s game, and he’s carded six consecutive Top 10s with three Top 5s to start the 2025 LIV Golf season. Add a solid T14 in the Masters, and the two-time major champion is a fitting betting favorite for this week’s event.

Still, Rahm’s approach play hasn't been at its best with -0.20 true strokes gained across the past two LIV events to rank 31st in this field. He finished off the 2024 calendar year with an average of +0.75 true strokes gained on approach over his final eight events, so if there’s improvement with iron in hand, Rahm will be tough to top this week.

After all, even with the middling approach play, he’s been in consistent contention and ranks third in this field in true strokes gained tee-to-green and 11th in true strokes gained putting.

Finishing position pick: Talor Gooch Top 20
-115 at DraftKings

A three-time LIV Golf winner, Talor Gooch is trending in the right direction again with a T12 in Miami and a T13 in Mexico City. He’s gained true strokes on approach and on the greens in each, and I’m anticipating the elite ball-striker refinding top form in the coming events.

Gooch concluded last season with an eight-event stretch where he gained +0.76 true strokes on approach and +0.55 tee-to-green, so I’m expecting significant statistical correction to his respective -0.25 and -0.29 marks to start the 2025 LIV Golf season.

Matchup pick: Tom McKibbin over Richard Bland
-125 at DraftKings

We’re landing a fair number here because Richard Bland is coming off a T11 finish at LIV Golf Mexico City. A solid showing, but also one that included a Round 2 albatross and eagle. Otherwise, it was more of the same for the Brit.

Countryman Tom McKibben, meanwhile, is a rising star. He started the season with five consecutive Top 25 finishes, including three Top 10s before dipping to T34 last week. I expect him to rebound in short order.

LIV Golf South Korea field and favorites

Most sportsbooks view this as a three-horse race, with Jon Rahm, Joaquin Niemann, and Bryson DeChambeau fetching 7/1 odds or shorter after all finishing inside the Top 5 in Mexico City last week.

Joaquin Niemann used rounds of 68, 64, and 65 to snag his fifth career LIV win, while Bryson stalled out with a final-round 71 and ultimately finished T2 after entering Sunday with a one-shot lead. Rahm finished solo fourth.

Tyrrell Hatton is fourth on the board and also finished inside the Top 5 in Mexico City (T5). The fifth spot belongs to either David Puig (T13 in Mexico City) or Cameron Smith (T5), depending on the book.
