The lines went wild this week. Not sure what to make of it but you sure better shop the right prices!!! Detroit was a SCREAMING BUY and they won. "Talking Lines" continue to hit at an astounding rate (you just have to figure which ones are talking and which ones are just lip synching!!! I do it pretty well).
Is 2- the new 3? Shocked how many games game off the magic number 3. If the line drops off 3, strongly consider the dog, if it rises don't necessarily consider the favorite............speaking in complete generalities! I would note that with all the missed extra points and the occasional 2 point conversion try that "3" may not be the dominant number it always has been.
I played New England +6 early, played it +8 early Sunday (and gave it out as a 4% play), and played it again at +10 before the game. I can not imagine who thought playing the Cards laying that kind of number against Bellichek was a good idea. Insane!
Happy that my switch to Houston paid off. The line drop to -4- pushed me over the edge, as did the huge move on New Orleans to -3. Was leaning New Orleans slightly before the move, happy I got to Oakland.
Tennessee completely stopped Minny's offense but two disastrous turnovers late in the 3rd quarter ruined the top play.
Remember the week one reversal effect. Look for teams that played way above or below expectation for turnaround candidates. Not necessarily too many as most games were competitive to the spread.
Jets played a pretty dominant game and lost by 1. Missed EP and missed FG. Passed up a TD shot for a FG late. Bengals deserve credit for gutting out the win.
Colts defense is AWFUL. Stafford spread the ball around nicely for Detroit.
Jamais Winston looked outstanding for Tampa.
Prescott played well for Dallas.
Wentz looked good.
