Sinner is the winner - if you get a walkover you are officially declared the winner of the match how bookmakers settle that differs - that is the reason it actually is pretty important to read bookmaker rules before making tennis bets - the rules also differs how they settle matches that are postponed for a couple of days, what happen if they change venue or players, some settle things that hasn’t happened yet but mathematically can’t lose while others don’t (if you have a +6.5 handicap and the match is stopped at 1st set: 6-0 - 2 set: 0-6 etc.)

It is especially important if you shop around for the best odds and try to hedge bets - because you can then be having bets on two different sites that settle stuff like that different - which can mean you have a void bet + a win bet sometimes - but might as well end up with a void bet and a lost bet - I have lost 1000s of USD on stuff like that when I started out betting

No book i know of grades a winner on a walkover(when player withdraws before match).....as for retirements during match many books grade as long as one set has been completed......so Sinner would get the win.......other books would cancel the bet on a retirement...I have both.......all the live bets and set spread bets generally cancel on a retirement....as for totals most cancel but some may grant a win on an over total games if its already hit at time of retirement.....but as Calde13 says....always check rules section of your book so you know what to expect
