Pro, I don't understand how you took Karla here? You took the over yesterday cause you knew Kvitova was a fighter and would play hard even after losing the first. I looked up her stats and figured out that she is a fighter. She almost never gets eliminated in two sets at the end of tournaments, which means she wasn't just going to let Karla win. Also, if you checked Kvitova's twitter you would see she was looking forward to the match today. Add to that the last time they played on the hard courts Karla got crushed. Add to that, Kvitova had points to defend. So how, after all this, how do you rationalize Karla? At the very least if you thought Karla was going to play well the over would have made more sense. Is your choice simply based on line movement? I'm trying to understand how this works, especially as I've been tailing you on your public plays.

Thanks for explaining this to me, pro. So it is a betting strategy that pays off over the long haul, and doesn't have much to do with who the respective players are? Which brings me to my next question. The line had also gone down on Kvitova to -150 at your book, which I imagine was lower than pinnacle. Did you lay off her because the line was moving against her?
I ask because I put money on Kvitova last night at -195, I was so sure she would play well. When I saw the line had gone this morning I thought great, I'll put more money on her but then backed off because off the line moving against me. To make a long story short, when the line moves against you is it generally wise not to put more money down on your initial investment? Even if there is no news of injury, etc...
