FIFA might lean on México to fall out, since there's security and other issues in México City. That's what I'm worried about in my México to advance bets today
I hope Van is wrong, for my sake

For those who asked for details, he did post reasoning for this sizable play.
I hope England are prepared for what Mexico will inevitably do tonight. Which is a sustained period of blitz. Mexico like to use their home field advantage to essentially max press, create turnovers, and suffocate their opposition in altitude, momentum, and crowd. But they can only do this for bursts of time - at maximum a half. But this comes at a cost for Mexico. You saw it in their last game against Ecuador - they blitzed in the first half and rested in the second. They are not immune to what this does to themselves. Its like playing FIFA on Playstation- they use their energy meter quickly in one half and maintain the other. England need to be prepared for this. Even ceding possession for long periods to disrupt this. But the good news for England is all of their players are on club teams that are used to facing this type of press - can build out of the back with short quick passing and overloads - to beat the press out of the back and create chances. England have struggled this tournament against 3 successive low blocks in Ghana, Panama, and Congo. Seeing a pressing team actually should work to their advantage IMO. I think Mexico will be out of ideas by the second half - and the England quality comes through. England 2-0
