 P should be able to pick the programs and pay for what you watch.  Not all the useless channels.  Jumping around for cable, direct, Roku, firestick, etc. CRAZY.

 Streaming gets crazy.  If you want local channels, especially the sports, I use Hulu.  It works decent.  It does get hung up from time to time.  I hear Youtube TV live is good as well maybe even better.  I get Peacock for free through my Xfinity cable and then I get Paramount free through t-mobile.  It all helps.

You will never find one you are happy with hahaha. And now every channel seems to be swaying away from regular streaming services, adding a + to the end and requiring you to pay for their subscription an_roll_laugh
