Agreed. You don't know how many times I did the hedge arthmatic in my head when VAR starts up. I don't know if you listen to Tommy Smyth and Rodney Marsh on the radio but they hate hate hate VAR and Rodney Marsh said well VAR reviewed the potential penalty when Ederson (the Man City goal keeper) slide poke check (for lack of better term) the ball away from Marcus Ratchford and VAR said no penalty. Well Tommy Smyth said well no shit VAR hates goals and that PK would have been an automatic goal.

I know its not gonna happen at this point but why not ask for it... Real Sociedad and Lazio net one please. Those are the only two goals I still need for a sweep today (of afternoon games I did lose the AFC win with BTTS bet because no BTTS which is what this is looking like right now too).

Real Sociedad with the goal! Just need a miracle (and this would be a real miracle as they looked like ass all game long) but need the Lazio goal now please! About 3 minutes left in added time. Have some pride Lazio. That wide open easy goal miss by Immobile in the 1H looms large now.

I think that Immobile miss was big. It would have given them a boost of confidence and then to couple that with Muller's rocket I think they were deflated. If I was actually watching the match and not just getting score updates I probably would have hedged out of my bet. But on well only $250 down the drain. Onto basketball.
