I definately overestimated Skelleftea's offense. They own the game, yet they can't score if their life depended on it.  0-2 atm..I don't expect them to turn it around.

I'm trying to find what QBs are expected to play for KC tonight but I can't seem to find.any info.

Would Croyle to play the 1st quarter, Casell to play the second quarter and Thigpen to play the second half be a bad guess?

Game: Skelleftea - Lulea (neutral arena)
Pick: Skelleftea REG +155

I honestly don't understand the odds here. Sure, Skelleftea have had a pretty bad pre-season so far but they're only looking better and better. What I LOVE about this game is that Lulea has about 6 injuries on key players while Skelleftea  only has one (he's doubtful but he could play).

With that said, Lulea have had a decent pre-season so far. It's been both up and down (mostly down the last few games though) which is great.  

I expect Skelleftea to get their D going tonight. Not sure about their offense cause they lack a real sniper. Couldn't find a O/U on this game but I would definately play under 5.5 if anyone of my bookies offered it. 

That's probably gonna be the case for most of Skellefteas game this season. They have a very solid D and two great goalies. They have one of the worst power plays in the league and lost their best scorer and haven't really replaced him. Look for 70% of their road games to go under 5.5 this season. For some reason, the bookies never adjusted the totals lines last season and I don't expect them to do it this season either. They'll just keep them at 5.5.

Wow, yeah that is obvious. I value quotes from coaches highly so that's great. :)

I haven't followed the NFL for that long so I'm guessing that's why I can't make sense of some of the info out there. But that's also why I barely bet any money on NFL games. But in a few years..damn I'll be good. ;)

Been searching for awhile and I can't figure out where people get all their info from. The teams' official homepages usually have SOME info, but usually it's pretty thin.

Yahoo and ESPN have some info too on all teams but again, there's not much that I can use to base a bet on.

For example, we all know Cutler's gonna debut tonight. This is pre-season and he's new so I'm guessing he's gonna play like a quarter or so. But after that, I can't seem to find ANY info on who's expected to play next and how much.

So if you got some useful links, I would be grateful if you could share them. :)

It costs pretty much for a book so I would recommend that you borrow it from a library or something.  It is basic stuff but he explains it so damn well. :)

I've been taking lots of breaks during the time I've bet sports. Mainly because of bad money management and discipline. It was all fine as long as I was winning but as soon as a losing streak occured, I was screwed. 

I got interested in stocks and forex trading so I started reading a few books on the subject and one of the books really made me realize why I'm losing. It's called Trading for a living by Dr. Alexander Elder. It's probably the most known book about trading so I'm guessing one or two here have already read it. Yes it's about trading but trading and sport betting have at least one thing in common: without proper money management and discipline, you'll get nowhere.

I'd recommend reading the whole book but Chapter 1 and 10 are extremely good and most of you can probably relate to what's written there. :)

Now I'm extremely prepared for this upcoming hockey season. Last season got ruined because I lost a few bets in a row when I took way too huge risks.

I've been contemplating wether I should post my plays or not because I always quit doing it when I start to lose. But who cares. I'll post my picks cause nothing bad could really come from it. :)

So far (unposted though) in MLB: 5-4 +3 units

Anyway, here are my picks for today:

KC Royals ML
LA Angels ML
Marlins ML
Cards ML

These aren't final though. I'll most likely play 4 of them. If I don't make another post saying otherwise, these 5 are the ones I will put my money on.

Sharks are almost unbeatable at home this season, but I'd watch out for Coyotes at +260 tonight. They have been playing pretty good against Sharks. Sharks haven't been playing their best hockey lately, even though they beat Avs 3-0. Their offense is not 100% atm.

Devils at +140 is another one I'm gonna play.
