This is it guys. Our last week for regular season College Football. Sad but true. So I figure why not go out with a bang.
Going for the Da Vinci Code.....OR what might be better known as...... the - EIGHT GAME PARLAY - Can it be done? Probably not... but nothing like the feeling of 160 to 1 on your money So why not. Here goes my shot at glory. Pick 1 - Houston -6.5 Pick 2 - Southern Miss/ Western Kentucky OVER 73 Pick 3 - USC/ Stanford OVER 60 Pick 4 - Air Force/ San Diego St. OVER 51 Pick 5 - New Mexico St. + 22 Pick 6 - Clemson/ UNC OVER 67 Pick 7 - Georgia Southern/ Georgia St. OVER 60 Pick 8 - Troy PK Putting $143 on it If for some reason lightning strikes and I hit this....I will upload pic of ticket for proof I actually placed the bet. Follow or Fade...up to you...but good luck to all. |

VT will fight hard for Beamer, yes I do agree, and that is worth something, BUT I don't see VT capable of winning this football game. UNC wins and I believe they cover.

I played it. Love Georgia for exactly the reasons you described.

Hood is a beast and once they draw the LBs up to try and stack against Hood should open up a lot of play action for those talented WRs of UNC vs soft secondary of Vtech. Completely agree people ARE riding the emotional angle and it does count for something but its just not enough against this UNC team. Like you said UNC is so strong on offense, too tough a task for this Hokie squad even with the extra effort. People forget UNC has a lot of emotion riding as well. Big aspirations of getting into the playoff and they certainly have the talent and will want to continue to show it. They will want to make a statement here. |

These are not your typical Hokies.
Play inconsistent sloppy football and should not have won against Georgia Tech. Lost to Duke at home, give me a break. Duke plays at home the following week against Miami and gets beat. We all know what North Carolina did to Miami. Tarheels also beat the **** out of Duke no problem. Let the sharps bet on Va Tech all they want and drive the line down. UNC is catching fire and are VERY talented on BOTH sides of the ball. This line is more about respect for Coach Beamer then anything else. UNC is going to light these guys up, imo this will be a statement game. DO NOT let fear cause you to miss out. This line WEIRDNESS reminds me of a month ago when all the "SMART" money was coming in on Central Florida against Houston driving the line from -22 to -19 right before kickoff. I never been so confused in all my life as I had bet LARGE on Houston and couldn't understand wtf was going on. Weirdness made no matter as Houston won 59-10. Screw the "SMART" money and the Frank Beamer BS. Tarheels are going to cover this spread easily and thats a FACT so bet the game and cash with me. No reason to fear this group of 2nd rate Hokies, but PLENTY of reasons to fear North Carolina. |

General consensus is towards Arkansas here. You probably won't find anybody pushing you the other way. I don't think theres any team in the COUNTRY that wishes to play Arkansas right now. Load up and pull the trigger. I already have. GO HOGS

When I first saw this line Sunday evening I thought the same thing. Then I remembered sitting in the Liberty Bowl a few weeks ago watching my undefeated Memphis Tigers as a 31 point favorite play against Tulane. They didn't look that bad to me as they led Memphis 13-0 into the 2nd quarter scoring touchdowns on their 1st 2 possessions. Defense seemed to frustrate Memphis as well as Memphis snagged a safety and a field goal right before the half to take the lead 15 -13. The kid playing at QB for Tulane that night was the 3rd string QB who had never started a game. They sure punched my Tigers in the mouth and it took a big 2nd half for Memphis to pull away. This is why I stayed away from touching this game. The way I see it, if Tulane has enough athletes to hang with Memphis for a half of football using their 3rd string QB, I believe they can run with SMU for a whole game with their 1st string QB. Not sure SMU can respond to being punched in the mouth as well as my Tigers can. Proceed with caution. Definitely not a play of the year, nor even of the week. Who can ever justify a game of the year on either of these teams who have proven they cannot WIN games much less cover a spread.

I like your card. I agree with Southern Miss, also worth noting they are coming off a bye, which was big in my analysis. The only thing that slightly troubles me is these 2 teams with same QB's played last year and Rice rolled by 20. Love Wash St. been on them for weeks now, Falk is the real deal. BYU gets the win, although not positive they cover the 6. Okla St should handle Iowa St. and cover and the only game Im so-so on would be App St. They haven't looked like the same team for the last few weeks, not sure whats going on there and Idaho does seem to be improving but yeah overall looks good. Looks like you'll be adding to your 3k very soon.

If Buffalo can take care of business against Kent St i think I'm good here.
Manziel is not getting it done tonight in Cincy. Miss St is too much for Missouri who can't score points. App St. should win by DD. Imo Buffalo is key here so the 4 pts. may come in handy. BTW it was a 6.5 pt. teaser. 5 games pays 4 to 1. Like my chances

You are so WRONG its scary. Would not advise anyone to make this play. Navy will have success running on Memphis and Lynch will have success throwing on Navy. Fact...This 1 is going OVER.

Anybody who doesn't see this point total going over is NUTS Memphis will struggle to stop the run and Navy will struggle to stop Lynch....the OVER in this game looks very good ...I expect Memphis to play its best football....just not sure thats good enough to cover 8 against Navy....staying away from the line and taking the over
