I know there is a lot of talk about Ben’s last home game, blah blah blah. What’s more important is if Bengals win Sunday, they win the division and the Browns (and Steelers) are eliminated. For me, if Bengals lose I will absolutely looking to back the Browns because they are a Top 3 rushing offense vs one of the worst 3 rushing defenses. And Browns would be much better if Chubb, Hunt & key o-Lineman haven’t missed time. Yes, Baker was awful last week but I’ll take the team with the better defense & superior run game vs the old QB playing his last home game. If Bengals lose & Browns win, sets up battle of Ohio for AFC division next week. |

This is great, it’s like two teenagers playing each other in Madden. So exciting |

Guys, this is simple, it’s Rodgers vs Mike McCarthy. Rodgers all day long! McCarthy will figure out a way to screw this up & Zeke can’t run the ball the way Chubb & Browns did. Packers vs Chiefs, rematch of Super Bowl 1, also in LA. Packers win it! |

Last game, Bulls shot 15-36 on 3’s, Wiz were 10-37, which included Westbrook & Beal being 2-9. I’d expect both sides to regress more to the mean, advantage Wizards. Also, keep an eye on Markannen, if he’s out I’d definitely play Wizards |

Can’t make a worse pick than Philadelphia. Wentz is a TO machine, defense is porous & Cleveland’s run game is outstanding. Browns win by 7+ |

Frank, I’ve been reading your write ups since August on NBA bubble & man, you’ve been impressive . Betting ML on 8 or 10 point underdogs was very impressive. I like the Bears tonight as well, this makes me more comfortable. Keep doing your thing & disregard what everyone says or thinks. Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one & they usually all stink. |

This is an excellent pick. These are NOT the Browns of yesteryear. They have (and will continue) to beat the teams they should beat. Mixon is out for Bengals & Garrett will be able to get to Burrow. It’s a rivalry but Browns will bounce back as a up & coming playoff team should & put last weeks debacle behind them. I also expect Denzel Ward to be tested and get a pick today. |

Not saying Chargers aren’t the play here but Chargers May be missing 3 starters on the O-line. Secondly, bigger & stronger doesn’t mean better (see Jamarcus Russell). Saints were down 2 starting DB’s last week, are they back this week? Chargers traveling on back to back weeks, first Tampa now NO, not easy to do in consecutive weeks. Important points to consider here & if Brees doesn’t make mistakes (Herbert will with his youth) Saints win this at home. |

I’m going Saints ML here. Although Packers have looked great this far, blowing out the winless Vikings & dumpster fire that is Detroit isn’t that impressive. I’ll take the home team with the better coach & better defense who have played better competition this far. Both teams down their top WR but I trust Payton more to scheme accordingly. Perhaps we both win |

I can get into a lot of numbers & thoughts here, like how Dragic is completely outplaying Kemba, etc. but the one GIGANTIC stat that jumps out is this: Tyler Herro almost posted a Triple Double off the bench & Heat still barely won. What happens if Herro puts up 3 less assists & 4 less rebounds? Celts should win by 6-10. Herro is a nice player but don’t see this happening again. With that logic in mind, Under seems like a solid play as well but I’m taking Celtics -2 |

Semi-dumb question here guys but for the 2 All American Buckeyes who opted out prior to the season being reinstated, can they opt back in? |

IMO, all these guys want to be each other’s best friend. Where is the competitiveness? Win or lose, everyone is making millions so how much do they care? In addition, free agency has killed loyalty in the sport. NBA was the top sport but they’ve slowly conceded that honor back to NFL. |

Paul has averaged 27 in the 3 wins & 17 in the losses. This is his series average, makes sense. His style of play and his age aren’t conducive to huge scoring games but he is a competitor & takes what the D gives him. Line seems right to me |

I believe NBA Players should end season right now. Follow my reasons below. First, and of least importance, whoever wins the “title” this year will have an * by it. No home court advantage, fans, some players opting out, it just isn’t the same, on or off the court. Secondly, and of most importance, the players can take a stand here. Use their influence as multi-millionaires and especially the power of their billionaire owners to impact real change with politicians & law enforcement. If, over the next 4 months, there is real social justice reform & people are held accountable, then they return in December or January for next season. If not, they should not continue to provide “entertainment” for a country which doesn’t care about them. |

The numbers don’t like & a combination of Mitchell & Clarkson coming down to earth as well as the 3 point shooting regressing both ways yielded a Nuggets win. Time to go 2-2 on plays with detailed write-ups. |

Digging into the numbers on Denver-Jazz. In the 3 Jazz wins, Utah shot 47% from 3 (52-110) while Denver shot just 35% (42-119). Essentially, Jazz are +10 points per game from deep. BUT, do you know who the best 3 point shooting team is in the NBA? Denver, @ 43%. I see some regression to the mean coming here for both teams, Utah to shoot worse, Denver to shoot much better. Secondly, Donovan has been the best player on the floor but I honestly don’t see him co to using to average 40 points. Those are LBJ or Kobe numbers, so I see him leveling off a little as well. Lastly, Jordan Clarkson has averaged 20 PPG off the bench the last 3 games, all Jazz victories. Jordan Clarkson. I’m not seeing him continue to play at that type of level. In summary, the 3 point shooting is fact based & there is some regression coming. It may not be enough if Mitchell stays dominant & Clarkson continues his stellar play. However, I believe all 3 continuing won’t happen & that is why my belief is Denver will win straight up tonight. |

If PG would defend better they’d be up 3-1 & no one would be questioning his poor offense. BTW, I will not refer to him as PG13 until he can actually score 13 in a playoff game. |
