@Verdict - Totally agree nothing is for sure but I like the chances of a backup QB going against a good defense to not put too many on the board... and the passing game of NOS is not great anyway so I think they try to run more in the rain and wind... Short fields and turnovers can kill the under for sure... but long fields and less fieldgoals and extra points help too.... should be a fun sweat... lets go defense... |

Don't post on here much but have a big play tonight on the under 41.5 5 units... Weather deteriorating and back up QB sounds like a 7-3 halftime score... |

Oregon does normally travel well but not today, Dixons knee was injured with a few minutes to go in the ASU game. He started the Arizona game with an ACL that had already been MRI and identified as a torn ACL. I tried to warn everyone on here prior to that game that his ACL was torn, I was on Arizona and the under.

You may be right about Dixon he is probably the best back SF has faced the problem is the other backs and teams were not as 1 dimensional as Oregon will be today. SF knows that the QBs won't beat them, and the Qbs are not real threats to run themselves. If they stop Stewart they win big. When they played the others listed above the threat of a deep pass or some one else running was greater than it will be today. I know that Stewart ran well VS Beavs who also have a great rushing defense, but Beavs gave them short field all day. A fumble for 6. and plus 3 turnovers and ducks still couldn't close at home....My opinion is SF wins going away we will see in 5 hours....no more talking lets get it on

OK I will give you my picks we can only play for bragging rights as I have enough on the line.....
First I like SF-6 Over ORE
I'll take Air Force plus the points
and Georgia tech minus the points
I have no educated guess which way the Kentucky game goes as there is way too many unknown factors to truly cap this game in my opinion. Loser has to post the other is a genius tomorrow night. I will be looking for the post.....Good luck to you and good luck to me as I may need it.........Have a happy new year.....OUT
We will agree on the other 2 games....CLEMSON and OK state...

I as you love my ducks but I have been fading them since Dixon went down in the game VS Arizona st. I had inside tip of Dixons ACL torn prior to AU game and went big on under and AU loved getting points with UCLA and Pick VS Beavs. I think Oregon did us a favor by keeping Civil war close to keep this number under a TD.....

I am not sure it was e-mailed to me and it discussed me so I thought I would pass it along to my fellow degenerates.......10 hours till kick off. At the end of the day you get your money in when you think you have the best of it and protect it if your not sure. This time it feels like I got "all in" in great shape barring hitting a 2 outer I think I'll double up

yeah they seem pumped up ready to play they are definetly going with Roper. They think he gives them the best chance to win. They know they are banged up but think they can play with SF. I mean what are they going to say that they have no chance.... They liked their chances VS UCLA and OSU also. They love the bowl games lots of festiveties.....Most went home a few days for Christmas....Some travelled alone to El Paso and some went with the team day after Christmas....

Actually 48 scoring for SF not 38 Didn't mean to shave ten from their last 3 game average....

Lots of talk of Stewart coming back for his senior year....I think 75% he comes back.....Which is great news...He wants to have a complete season to prove his injury prone body can take a full season....

8000 tickets alotted for Oregon 2200 Sold the rest will be donated to Fort Bliss Texas. No support for the ducks, Myself included I usually go to the bowl games but the word in Eugene is a lot bleaker than around this covers site. Nobody I have talked with locally thinks the ducks have much of a chance. Maybe it is a trap game but instead I like to think that Most of the bettors don't know much about Oregon and if You look at the averages are very close to South Florida in almost every catagory, but if you look at the last 3 games Oregon has been using their 4th and 5th string QBs a huge difference in total scoring 38 for SF 18 Oregon. Total offense total defense every catagory points to S.F. Oregon is great at home at Autzen couldn't handle the Beavs and they were plus 3 turnovers and played on a short field. Oregons D scored 1 of the TDs and a big punt returned set up another. Roper throw for 145 yards not steller......Grothe is not the sencond coming himself but he is a gamer and runs pretty well. has 13 rushing TDs. SF spreads you out and he runs it pretty well. Roper is not a running QB. 12 hours till showtime...By far my biggest play of this bowl season and my entire life if you must know....GO BULLS

Oregon has also been horific in bowl preperations under Bellotti. Oregon has a history of folding late in the season and in bowl games the trend continues...Normally Oregon travels well but I know many people (including myself) who normally follow the ducks that did not get tickets to go due to the collapse of the team.....Oregon will not score more than 17 points....GL all......OUT

Roper QBS Oregon not Leaf...Remember Oregon had 2 weeks to prepare for UCLA and they ended up scoring 0 points. Oregon played on short field VS Oregon St at home with plus 3 turnovers and 1 TD taken from Beavs...Should have been 28-7 first quarter....SF good defense VS run and suspect against the pass but Even if Roper can throw it whos going to catch it. top 3 recievers out for Oregon Pflugrad-colvin-pasinger. I am not sure if you've seen number 4 williams catch it but I have seen my 10 year old son catch more balls than him. Stop Stewart win by 20....I think SF ends plus 2 turnvoers going away 44-17.....We will see in 13 hours.....OUT

New Year's Eve Bowls - On a 7-0 bowl run and a 10-1 overall winning streak
in College Football I am not sure why people think Leaf will play... He won't play Ducks officially and unofficially going with Roper. He has thrown 35 college passes and is 16 for 35 2 tds 2 picks. I would not put my money on a team that has no desire to be there without top 2 middle linebackers and a recieving corp that is banged up. Only thing Oregon has is Stewart you stop him you stop the ducks....And I think S. Florida knows that.......44-17 SF....OUT
