 Cheers man, I wouldnt say recreationally myself...I ve been betting on sports as a side hustle for 20 years now. I ve done really well in baseball for about the last 10 years, progressively better. I do decent in NBA too.

Hockey is more recreational at this point for me, despite it being my "favorite" sport, my returns dropped significantly over time. I was killing it from 06 to 14ish...started to decline to the point that I d rather put my energy/time towards baseball.

Also for the record, it is close between the 2 and I dont even think Makar has played up to his potential in this series. I expect him to show up tonight...if he doesnt and McDavid tears it up in the playoffs, I ll change my opinion.

McDavid a superb talent and one of the best evrr, Makar is just that good right now imo

 This was nonsense, do better. There are literally advanced hockey models that measure total impact and Makar ranked above McDavid in many of them.

35 years watching and playing this sport, I know what I see

 Disagree. Makar is a great overall defenseman who contributes offensively unlike any other D in history. I gueas you could argue Bobby Orr but thats way beyond my time.

Yeah McDavid didnt have his best season...I watch all teams play and I dont think anyone was more impactful than Makar.

Btw, many advanced stats (game score) support this...

 Fair, I only saw as low as -140 in the 3 books I use.

I really feel like Stars taking a lead into the 3rd last game was their best chance because they were badly outplayed up to that point and the Avs kept hitting posts etc. They had to lock it up but clearly couldnt withstand the Avs pressure.

I just dont see any injury news but I do know that a lot of the action is on the Avs and it seems like books dont have much faith in the Stars, risk mitigation.

 The problem is...it's been a close series by result but Colorado has been the better team and less fortunate.

 I never saw -135, I got -140 early...but yeah its natural line movement when action is one sided.

Trends and historicals favor Dallas but I am a believer of the current/circumstances and the best hockey player in the world (Cale Makar) plays for the Avalanche.

Avs ML & Regulation. BOL all.

It was 3-0 Avs and the best player on the ice was Jake Oettinger by a moonshot. All you need to know. 

What the hell is this hockey team though, seriously....the fact that series is tied 2-2 is insane, congrats to the bookmakers on their profits from those 2 Stars wins. 

I have to think about game 5 but the only thing that's for sure, the whole world will be unloading on the Avs.

Has any team ever cashed this much as an underdog? I have been betting for over 15 years now and I can't recall, maybe I am getting old and my memory is failing me...

Regardless, I am pretty sure if you consistently bet this throughout the season then you would be very much in the Green. 

Routine groundout, zero pressure on him....there is just no excuse for a major leaguer making that throw.

As sketchy as it gets....we'll leave it at that.
